I haven't playing ksp a long time so decided to start from the beginning. I was constructed basic rocket with basic capsule plus the science module beneath capsule, the science module has it's own two parachutes, so when i decoupled the science module from capsule it's should opened parachutes and land apart the capsule. I even saw as science module parachutes opened. So wen i recovered capsule with kerbonaut inside i opened the mission control to recover the science module and get 25 tech point:D But it was not there. i was not get this, i attached to it parachute so where is the science module??

I was on it in the cinema, it was some time ago now, I decided to watch it again. I mean especially the ending of the movie, when the poor took over control at Elysium, and humanitarian aid has been sent to earth by the AI. After all Elysium resources are limited, it could be enough for a small group of the population consisting of "elite" but not for 10 billion people, I wonder if it could not only aggravate the problems?

I have to say that I have not played for KSP for long time, I just have a lot of classes at the university, now got a bit more free time, but it will not last long. I wonder when the new update will be released, and does we would get economic management. With budget management the game would be more realistic. I hope we don't get politicians

Does the warp drive would ever ever become real

It would be beautiful if we could create a warp drive I still think that first ship going warp should play this:D -
Does the warp drive would ever ever become real

I would live to see the time when humanity will have warp drive, such as in Star Trek. If I could suggest something a future astronaut, is that before the first warp drive activatiom broadcast this -
I'm busy making source tables to my thesis, truth be told I would prefer to play my favorite Sims 3, but the thesis will not write itself :-) I decided to take a break, I clicked on the icon floppy disk to save the results of my work. I do not know maybe I'm a nerd but I began to wonder why microsoft is using as the save icon symbol floppy, who the heck today uses floppy disks Maybe in the new Office uses a different symbol, I have Office 2010 Home and Student

What do you think about that n fact the same can be said about America but that's another story

It was long time since i was here on forum Mainly because i have lot study at university, i have very little time to play me beloved KSP But recently I came across a very interesting news, and this forum is full of space geeks like me, it is perfect place to share this news:D Apparently, NASA is preparing to flight test new capsule Orion, the one that is to be used in future missions to the moon. http://www.spaceflightinsider.com/space-flight-news/orion/exploration-flight-test-1/booster-for-nasas-eft-1-mission-rolls-out/ This mission is to be unmanned, and is to be held in September. I wonder when I will take a manned mission with astronauts. The first test of the Space Shuttle mission STS-1 was the manned mission right away, there ware no unmanned mission.

What do you think about Japanese whaling
Pawelk198604 replied to Pawelk198604's topic in Science & Spaceflight
The whales need to be protected, but first you have to convince the people of Japan, we need to remember that their Culture is different and much older than Western culture. I wonder if someday may lead to an international incident because of this. Assume the situation of Australia sends its fleet in the Antarctic region, in order to protect "their territorial waters", Australia has territorial claims to Antarctica. In my opinion they have no rights, because Antarctica belongs to all humanity. But saving the whales is indeed a noble goal. Assume Australia sends its fleet to expel whalers. Japans also sends its fleet to protect the whalers. Question what's next? -
What do you think about Japanese whaling
Pawelk198604 replied to Pawelk198604's topic in Science & Spaceflight
My point exactly That would be something that I can see the headlines on CNN, "War on whales' "The escalation of the conflict in the Pacific, does there will be World War III?" -
I updated link:-)

I watched Whale Wars on TV, i was wondering would be if Japan send warships to escort whaling fleet

It's not what I meant, but i like this idea. You might as well take also take some people without best gens but are some kind useful, and fix their flaws troughs genetic engineering. The Ark should also take genetic material of plants and animals, and after reaching the destination try to introduce Earth animals and plants to local ecosystem.
-
genetic diversity What does this mean? Does this mean that people with Asperger, ADHD, or minor health problem would have chance?
-
The facts are that useful people with useful skills they would have been left to a certain death, only for this that does not have super Aryan genes. While muscled Guy or Girl, who is had super good genes but not very smart or useful skills would have chance to survive. And why would not appeal to the emotions, when it came to about my very existence. I would not have any objections if I knew that we all have the same chance in the lottery. No breakdown favored with good genes Aryans and subhuman "Life unworthy of life" every should be treated equal. Following the reasoning of some users, the homosexuals of both sexes also should not have access to the ark, because they were not that eager to contribute to a common gene pool. But to discriminate against them because of their psychosexual orientation, also would not be right. Do we agree or maybe not:D Everyone should have the same chance, because in terms of genetic discrimination, or any other should not take place
-
Please don't quote Godwin's law to me if someone try to use eugenic genetic to decide who could be saved and who not, why do not call such policy only suitable term which is na zi like. "Life unworthy of life" i know it's oxymoron:D Of course, you can not save everyone which is some talented scientist, crew and leaders , and make lottery for rest
-
Here's what I meant, lot of aspies are exceptionally gifted, maybe not me, but lot has For example this boy http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1369595/Jacob-Barnett-12-higher-IQ-Einstein-develops-theory-relativity.html But he had asperger, why some N a z i like geneticist can decide who can survive? Granted the Ark has limited place, so why not reserve some seats for people with useful skills and talents and distribute rest equally among all countries and make lottery. It most fair solution
-
Maybe, but it is fair. Without favoring anyone. For example, I have Asperger's syndrome, it is not my fault, I was born that way. There are also people who have ADHD are a bit childish, but in the same time very creative. Both Asperger's syndrome and ADHD is determined by a gene inherited from our Neanderthal ancestor. Does this make less human? Why are these people not be able to find a space on the Space Ark?
-
And what is wrong with the desire to survive? True, maybe I'm a little selfish, but generally people like me and try to help others. As for the selection process is that I should not be based on discrimination based on genetic, it should be a number reserved for the most talented scientists and artists, maybe 20%, but the rest of the seats should be distributed by lottery? While maintaining an equitable distribution of course by the Countries? On Earth, there are 196 countries, the Ark can accommodate 250,000 people, so we divide 196 by 250000, which gives us enough 1275.5 This much place should be allocated for every country.
-
You right again, you may say that i'm hypocrite, but every human being, fight for their life. But now I think a better idea is to hack the system, or pay a hacker to do this for me, and just adding to the list of the lucky ones. Why is that someone has to have a chance of survival because he or she has better genes than me? It's f.. unfair. If they don't invite me fine thanks. I'll invite myself:D
-
If i would somehow still alive i would probably very pissed off But I will say this as my history teacher used to say point of view depends on the point of the seat
-
genocide-suicide? And what about of genocide of this who will be left behind on Earth waiting for death? I forgot to mention this in my earlier post.
-
You're right, you can always hack the system and add yourself. Like self-invitation on someone else party:D
