  1. Only if you've got it to local mode. If it's in the other mode then it will lock to the VAB.
  2. It's probably because you offsetted it with angle snap on.
  3. Nova, do you have a youtube link to the soundtrack in the Prototype Zero?
  4. Mk1 of the marvelous Steam-Powered Traction Rover, called Locomotive Traction Engine for Space, or LTEfS "El-Tefs." It's pretty massive, but such is the problems have having to use a solar boiler to generate power. And I wouldn't recommend crashing it. Electro-Magnetic Transfer Mechanism for Transference of Craft Information Data. (download) Coming soon: Victorian Tech Shuttle
  5. Did anyone else notice that there is no AppLauncher in the upper right corner of the U.I. pic?
  6. They actually do kinda work like that. Not the map, but PQS does use "Quads" and basically a -1 Planet is a cube. - - - Updated - - - I've been wanting round voxel planets for so long! Yes!
  7. There isn't even a little green on Laythe. There is in some mods, notably Alternis kerbol. - - - Updated - - - Vall doesn't get ejected if you account for barycenters. - - - Updated - - - The odd planetology of the Joolean moons is one of the things that makes KSP's star system unique and not just filled with mere dead iceballs. Each of them are challenging for gameplay reasons. If they were all generic moon-mercury sized (accounting for Kerbalized scale) objects, then it wouldn't be that interesting. I am a bit curious regex. Do you think the Moons of Jool are actually bad?
  8. One dust particle would be bigger than sprinkle. - - - Updated - - - If someone could actually get Danny2462 to play with my Minmus Mintchip mod it would be truly amazing! Space_Scumbag would also work.
  9. I'm not sure what that was, but it was okay.
  10. Maybe for very long missions you could compromise and limit your timewarp so that to get to Jool takes a whole day.
  11. Could you perhaps have an alternate version of alternate Sarnus with THIS texture? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/101936-Gas-Giant-Textures-%284k-Resolution%29-Taking-Requests?p=1576672&viewfull=1#post1576672 And appropriately colored rings to match? EDIT: I didn't even notice that this was Urlum's texture already. Nevertheless, I think that as GP2 analog, it deserves this texture. Actually, let me real quick modify the texture to get a better one. Also, I think Neidon would look really cool with the Jovian - Nebula texture. EDIT2: Here's a redone GP2 Texture:
  12. Why is it that I always forget about those bodily functions. Yeah, remember the bottles.
  13. Seems like a neat idea. Maybe you should try it in simulator mode if you ever can! Get a crew for mission control, use telemachus, and you lock yourself in a small room with IVA mode only! Make sure to bring the snacks!
  14. Here's the results of a science quiz: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1m71ord6fyiT3qCCMax0FrouhQOjmEeg-Km4n7eRrhog/viewanalytics?usp=form_confirm They change as more people take the quiz. Please only give this quiz to people who you know not to be already knowledgable of space.
  15. This article has a major problem. No one is a fan of Armageddon.
  16. Greater than 1 means it will leave the pad, because thrust > weight. Saturn V had TWR of 1.2 on liftoff IIRC.
  17. "Who invented Space?" I then took the opportunity to describe the Karman Line, and how even before then it was known that air pressure drops off with altitude, and you'd eventually have a vacuum.
  18. It is a meme on the internet where a very hyped-up event will be sort of like a bandwagon of people joining in. A Train of people being Hyped. It's metaphorical. It is a vehicle by which a massive group of people can be transported to the station of the event.
  19. Let me fix this for you. Yes, it does, though I'm not sure about the projector one, as a projected image isn't an object. There is a limit on the minimum size of our universe, called the Planck Length. The Planck Length is 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000161619926 meters across. This is unbelievably tiny. Although, perhaps in can be argued that anything that is smaller than that could still exist, but that it would not register as an object that is smaller than that, or it will merely not be observable. So as an idea, it makes sense. As to whether it is correct? I do not think science has the answer to this at this time.
  20. Still in the workshop waiting for the go-ahead to the station. It will be considerably after experimentals this time, because experimentals will take so long.
  21. I am convinced the stock fairings will be better than procedural fairings.
  22. I laughed. http://www.scienceofthespheres.com/welcome-back-my-friends/
