  1. Meh. Never used any comm sat mod so I'm indifferent. Would rather see some sort of life support being implemented first.
  2. Yesssssssssssssssss. Stuff like TWR and atmospheric ISP is a part of Kerbal Engineer though it would be nice to first send a probe to a certain body to know all those parameters.
  3. Great stuff. Waiting to see more RO replicas from you. IL-2 4 LIFE
  4. The shader thing looks pretty bad IMO. At least for me. It looks as if someone suddenly covered the part with red, hot and still glowing melted glass. Would rather see the emissives for all the parts. Not sure how RAM intensive that would be tho.
  5. Do you plan to record every mission and upload it to YT? Because I would watch it with pleasure with all the voices and telemetric data.
  6. I'd rather see a 4-man, 2.5m Dragon-like capsule first tbh, but Russian parts would be fine too.
  7. I thought it's possible? You just walk over to the flag and pick it up and replant it again. A small thing? Hmm... KAS fuel pipes? They are pretty small.
  8. I wasn't refering to any real life mission. No doubt. But it could also be solved in a sane way. The only crew members that I see having any benefit from in-the-field-training would be scientists - not pilots. "Hey guys, check this out! With all this dust on my spacesuit and a rock in the pocket I can totally SAS this thing!" Why not give that ability to the R&D building? I'm sure they have a spare pool or a vacuum chamber they are not using at the moment.
  9. I'm playing with USI LS and that mod makes kerbals consume electric energy. What I need to know is if 4 solar panels will be enough for crew of 4 in the Jool system, BUT it would be nice to know all the figures and calculate it myself. If nothing like that exists let me put all the numbers here (just in case you already did the same type of mission): - 4x Gigantor XL Solar Array - 4x Kerbals - Food amount: Enough Also if you know how efficient solar panels are on the northern pole of Laythe let me know that too.
  10. Eh. I was planning to watch some MKS tutorials anyway so I might as well download the mod and try it out.
  11. I feel like the XP system should be more of an indication of where a certain astronaut went and what he/she did. Nothing else. All the abilities should be available from the start. Real space agencies don't send random and untrained people in space. -Houston, one of my tyres went flat. There's no way I can go back to base on foot. My oxygen will run out before I get there. -Well, that's like... your problem man.
  12. Can I have a request? Could you add a part that has the same functionality as the fuel pipe? Except bigger. The corridors you can see between modules on this picture. Just so we don't have to pretend that we are somehow magically 'liquifying' kerbals when transfering them through a base. Unless it's already possible, but I don't know how to do it?
  13. Yeah, I too think that getting hydrogen from solar power energy would be easier and cheaper. Also pollution free since using it as rocket fuel (with O2) creates water (and some heat).
  14. I'm planning to go to Laythe with it and then go back. When that's done I want to put it in Kerbin-Duna encounter orbit (Was it called Armstrong's cycler?). That way I wouldn't have to buil a new mothership everytime I go there and it would be a pretty handy thing since I play with USI LS. I'm also planning to do a mission report about the whole mission, because I never get to do anything interesting with my ships once I build them. Maybe that will motivate me to make the gameplay actually interesting.
  15. So it's another name for... gravity assist? Except somehow fancier? Like when you get a retrograde Tylo encounter and free orbital insertion?
  16. OK, so the KUNIV ship is under construction. Nothing fancy. There are still 2 more tanks to be added. And I need a better name for it, because that acronym sounds pretty bad. Got any ideas, guys?
  17. Eh, I can't say I am visibly experiencing higher FPS, to be honest. Maybe it's just my laptop being crap and there's no way to squeeze any better performance out of it.
  18. The YT link redirects to the main KSP Forum site. EDIT: I am an idiot... Copied and pasted it directly. BTW Am I the only one who doesn't see any difference when using the Razer Game Booster?
  19. Essential stuff like KER, KIS, KAS, KAC, USI LS, Stock Fuel Switch and maybe something else. Unless 1.1 provides some stock substitutes for some of them (seriously, most of these should already be stock).
  20. I am not 100% sure about Hermes' propulsion, but wasn't it said in the book that it was some sort of VASIMR? Also, in terms of looks Nautilus-X > Hermes. Wish the ship in the film was more based on some modular structure similar to Nautilus than a weird off-center front thing. I mean, it looks pretty cool anyway but I'm a fanboy of compact spaceships with variable and easy to rearrange configuration. Yet another edit: Isn't that triple antenna dish a nod to 2001? Looks pretty similar to the one Discovery had. Or is it just the most logical thing to have on a massive spaceship?
  21. No way Those 2013 posts of mine are just as cringey as old posts on Facebook. Any mod reading this feel free to lock it.
  22. Awwww man, I wish pWings were already stock.
