So what addition or change to the KSP are we talking here about?

Stack mounted monoprop engine
Wjolcz replied to Nothalogh's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I'd rather have it redone to look nice and keep it radial. Maybe we could have all the engines redone the way the new 2.5m jet engine will be? It's radial until you attach it to the node. Then it gets a nice adapter on top and is inline now! I would like something like that a lot tbh. -
Internal resource distribution
Wjolcz replied to SpaceToad's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
But you kind of can. With the fuel pipes and by transfering or locking the resource flow. Why do you need that anyway? -
Planes. When I take off and notice I don't have enough pitch control to land again then it's the time I know the crew is screwed.

Do you tweak your control syrfaces when you build planes?
Wjolcz replied to FishInferno's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I assign different functions to control surfaces ever since it was introduced. The old system where you couldn't do anything about that was horrible. -
Hey OP, check my sig if you want a RAPIERless SSTO. I'm really proud of that thing.

What craft do you use to retrieve Kerbals from space?
Wjolcz replied to RocketBlam's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I already used the thing in my sig for few retrieval missions in my career. Not posting pics because browsing the forums on mobile is awkward. -
Drag rudder option for other control surfaces
Wjolcz replied to Wjolcz's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Thought about that, but came to conclusion it would require a lot of work just to yaw. You have to deflect them more and deflect them less. And have to do that for both sides. That's 4 different action groups used just to yaw the thing left and right. And it's not a very efficient way to do that either. SAS also doesn't help you to balance things out if you do it that way. -
Drag rudder option for other control surfaces
Wjolcz replied to Wjolcz's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
But not for yaw when in horizontal position. Can't make a flying wing without those. -
The system with points for each weapon works better IMO. I don't really like the idea of ammo being heavier than IRL. We're not using uranium rounds here, right? It's just that the points for each weapon have to be balanced. Or maybe there should be historically accurate weapons combinations, though it's not the best idea either, because we don't build replicas here. Anyway, my thoughts are messy today, but I vote for the points-per-gun to stay. It's just that tetryds needs to figure out the right numbers for each of them since he's the boss here. EDIT: Or (!) the guns could have built-in ammo racks.

[Showcase] Display your failed crafts!
Wjolcz replied to Columbia's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I consider this thing a failure because I couldn't make it to carry any significant payload to LKO: Also the descriptions in the album are kinda cringey. -
One of my best planes is i my sig. Sorry for not posting any pics. Browsing the net on mobile is a pain. Edit: oh, I actually have another one that works in FAR, but I'm not posting it 'til it's accepted into the BAD-T tournament. Secret war stuff is secret.

What is your naming system for Planes/Rockets?
Wjolcz replied to musicpenguin's topic in KSP1 Discussion
It usually takes me way too much time to come up with names for rockets and planes, but when I do that I put two words together and get 'Lightningbird', or 'Regolitron'. It also depends on where the mission is destined. I have two missions in Jool system. One is named 'Joolington' and the other 'Jooliette'. I also landed 'Laythe One Hab' on Laythe and 'Laythe Pigeon' is awaiting to get the SOI encounter. My naming system is all over the place. -
A built-in module in every crew tank would work better IMO. It would simply drain more EC if there were more kerbals on board. Let's say one crew member needs 5EC/hour. Then you bring another one and the amount of drained EC goes up by another 5 units. It just adds. And the food could be stored in crew-able parts too. Let's say there's an X amount of food in the Hitchhiker by default, but if you decide to take only 2 kerbalnauts instead of 4 you can throw the other two seats out and put food there instead. As the food is drained below a certain level the seat would be again able to store a kerbal. You fill it with food, you eat it, throw the trash out, there is more room and the vessel loses the mass.

Secrety secrets and military projects in FAR.

+rep for Lem. Read only only one of his books, but it was pretty good. Once I finish Christine (by King, of course) I'm going to read another one of Lem's.

I'm fine with that. [REDACTED] Is it possible in FAR to make Horten 229-like yaw system? If so, how? An I mean with B9 Pwings, not stock airbrakes. EDIT: I figured it out. You need to set a control surface as "Spoiler" and set Yaw value for it. EDIT 2: Nope. Still haven't figured it out. Help much appreciated.
