  1. I think all the LV-N vs Other engines tests people are doing are flawed because of the lack of proper LF-only fuel tanks.
  2. Nice discovery. I always keep the back pointy like real high-speed aircraft do, but it's good to know it actually helps like it should.
  3. Yes! That would be great too! Not necessary but would use it from time to time.
  4. You can send it over to me. Still got some nodes needing unlocking. Try doing small things again. I've never completed the tech tree yet, but I can tell you what I do in sandbox. I go places and do things just for the sake of it. Or start career again with some mods this time, if you don't use any. I don't think you can do much with the science in stock once you don't need it anymore. Edit: Or try super hardcore mode. I once did that. Took way more time to do anything and any penalties/vessel-wrecking landings were unforgiving
  5. Had the same thought. No idea how would that be implemented, though. Probably the whole gameplay would have to be changed for this to work.
  6. Is that a radiator made out of I-beams that I see? Looks amazing! Also nice idea with in-flight engine changing! Was thinking about something like this, but never really tried.
  7. Ah, yes. The infamous spaghetti orbit. How do you guys even achieve that? It has never happened to me!
  8. Remember this thing? Pepper Ridge FaANYYYYYWAY I thought I would like to see some more things to do when on Extravehicular Face-sliding Activities. Collecting data doesn't seem productive enough to me and some other people, so I decided to make a short list of things that should be movable/replaceable by Kerbals. -Fuel pipes -Replacing/welding science equipment, solar panels and other small parts. -Placing/removing/connecting tethers -Playing golf, throwing hammers and feathers at other crew members for science -Connecting/disconnecting trusses -Sample examing and gathering animations and statistical data as their result (suggested by sumghai) -More (Suggest!) In my opinion it would greatly help with space station assemblies and crisis situations, because when in danger and with limited supplies it is always good to tape stuff together and try going home. As it is past 0:00 where I live and can't think of anything else I leave this thread to you to discuss and suggest more things that you think should be doable using the toolbox showed above. Pardon me if this have already been suggested and feel free to merge/lock this thread if it is your will.
  9. Yes, please. Also would like to see the implementation of the toolbox there were pictures posted a while back. Also screwing/unscrewing/replacing of small pieces on EVA.
  10. Nice idea. Though I like to keep things simple and this is kinda complicated, I would like to see something like this.
  11. Hope it has some small goodies like the previus one had (small rocket fins).
  12. Be thankful you don't have to use gravity assists like in real life. That would take even more time.
  13. Oh, OK. Silly me. Apparently I can't read. Thought it was refering to the other mods RoverDude made the first time I read it. Will try this mod later today to check it out.
  14. This mod looks really solid, RoverDude. Good work! Any plans to add some sort of green house to this? As I understand you need additional mods for it to generate/recycle supplies?
  15. I was worried about the same thing last time I declined a rescue contract because I didn't have the claw D:
  16. Someone enlighten me what is the purpose of assymetrically placed booster?
  17. Not bad idea. Would be interesting to see this implemented in the stock game.
  18. The tech tree still sometimes doesn't make much sense, but career mode is pretty fun to me. I like the limitations it has. Really makes you think and improvise from time to time.
  19. The smallest retractable one could be slightly redone IMO. Maybe a bit longer?
  20. Yup. Also landing on fins.
  21. You should use some sort of aerodynamic caps on those. I did something like this with my RATOL design once and watching them fly off forward was pretty satisfying. Could be a bit dangerous for the rocket, though.
