Love the parts in this pack. I couldn't make all my awesome orbital stations without it. One thing that bothered me a bit though is the mass of the 6-way hub connector. At 1.5 mass it just weights too much compared with other parts of similar size. I reduced it to 0.4 in the config for myself as that is closer to a weight I would think it is. So now I can actually use it as a hub for spaceships. -
Did you put a lazor on the lazor system? If you don't not much for a ui will show.

Good idea.... Here is my crazy ship without the Ion drives or batteries. Couldn't even get to the point of putting solar panels on as it would screw up before that. -

Hmm, well I can only get the problem when I make complex rockets. So try building something like that. -

That's what I've been thinking. But so far I haven't been able to identify it. I've added things piece by piece and haven't been able to identify anything single part that is a problem.... For reference, I have the Kethane mod, Remotetech, Cart, MechJeb, Orbital construction and Romfarer. I thought maybe it was Remotetech, but didn't make a difference if I removed it. -

Been testing for the last hour and so far I've only been able to reproduce it on this one ship. So I'm trying to rebuild it (better of course) and try it then. -

Wish it as that simple... I have a couple null exceptions but they are for two other plugins and not yours. I do have the resource file. I doubled checked.. I haven't had problems before with the ion drive, but then I've never had 4 at once. I'll try a alt-f2 while in game. -

So I built a medium sized space station and put four of your Ion drives on it. When I get to that stage (last stage) it makes the game slow to a crawl while the engines are firing. Same thing happens when I use the Deep Space pack's Ion engine as well. Any idea what might be causing that? -

@Atomic: They aren't actually attaching properly even though it looks like it is. I had the same issue. Remove it and keep pressing the rotate buttons until it attaches right. It is a bit of a buggy part. -
This thread has some really great info, but has fallen down the pages a bit. Could it maybe be moved to the How To forum and possible stickied? Building planes is really hard and having these pages (especially Harvester's post) stickied would be really nice.

I have a folder on my computer, appropriately called mods, that has all of the mods for all of the games I've ever played with mods. And all of the changes that I've made to said mods. So I think I'm good. Nice this is KSP mods are usually pretty small so I can even store multiple version of mods too incase one gets broken. @Drone: Are they balanced symmetrically? I admit to not having launched too many kethane tank crafts, but the ones that I have haven't had any more issues than normal. -

No problem. Don't know if you wanted to link to MechJeb twice but you have the name "MechJeb" linking to the old forums, and they you have HERE linking correctly now. I'm sure people would be able to figure out to use the second one, but just thought I'd let you know. The ship is pretty fun to fly BTW. Great job! -

Is one fuel unit in game equal to 1kg? How would you calculate actual usage then? Say for instance you were using a engine with a 390 ISP and 250 thrust. What would the fuel usage per second be?

Can you attach a part to two other parts

Hmm, I wish I could show a picture of what I mean. Maybe I can use symbols to make it make more sense. Okay so lets say that the below three characters are three different parts. |-| The middle one is a standard piece which has connection points on either end. The other two have connection points in the middle as well. So I can connect the middle piece to either side, but as far as I can tell I can't connect it to both at the same time. So if the left part and the right part are existing already, can I connect the middle to both? Currently I just attach it to one and use struts, but it isn't ideal. -

Would it be permissible to use your engine models to make a engine mod of some sort?
