  1. Product of KATEC Skunkworks. check us out at our thread. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/95779-KATEC-%28Kerbin-s-Advanced-Technology-Collective%29-Precision-works All stock. The PAK-FA T-50-2 prototype. It's as maneuverable as my superhornet (minimum of 10 G's), can carry 2070 units of fuel, has a high cruising speed, is powered by two turbofan engines, and has a full sized mk2 bomb bay for stealth strike missions deep into hostile airspace. This craft also carries two state-of-the-art AIM-56B Block I missiles, which are supermaneuvrable and extremely long range. Block II is under development with an improved warhead. The cruise missile shown in the bomb bay is still classified and will not be included. Download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vfpw6q6n2dzbuwk/PAK-FA%20T-50-2%20A2A%20PA.craft?dl=0 T-50-2: 'Tis but a flesh wound...' (The plane literally fell apart when I tried to turn... the missile did its job. )

  3. Hehe. I'd update the destroyer, but the Arrow missiles are progressing along too nicely. I'm staying in and around Kerbin for now.
  4. I FEEL THE G-FORCE. IT IS A GOOD PULL. You're not the only one.
  5. Macross rocket barrages... they're beautiful. 'sheds tears' :)
  6. If I was in charge of ONI during that war, I would've ordered the Spartan-II project without hesitation. Parangosky was right in her actions. Anyways, I've decided upon a basic layout for the first Arrow prototype. It'll be fired from a static test stand. Just don't say 'Undid Iridium'. :P
  7. Lol, that's what my old strident class was like... Just make sure not to go too overkill on the armor. That's why my old ships were usually so part-heavy.
  8. Serin Osman? She's a jerk. On another note, I've decided to embark on the Arrow A2S system development path while EladDV creates those S2G missiles. Some test firings of the real Arrow-1.
  9. Orbital platforms can still be effective. It's just that I need an area denial system.
  10. I'm specifically targeting orbital platforms, which don't have much mobility. Of course, the ultimate goal is a road mobile arrow 3. Good luck to all of those space stations.
  11. Arrow 3 = bye bye mr. Spacecraft.
  12. You've heard of the IAI Arrow 3, I presume...
  13. Trust me, warships can't stop the new system.
  14. Those engineers are also working on a defensive measure against orbital platforms... cough cough. No exaggeration.
  15. Special fighters, you say? T-50. The bomb bay contains a... present... :) It also has two A2A missiles, with room for many more. Hehe. This is the PAK-FA Concept Craft, which includes a fully sized large mk2 bomb bay, and, if needed, 2070 units of fuel for the two turbofan engines. I also threw in the prototype SSN-22-1 missile, but this iteration has an extremely short range. It does, however, seem to carry quite a bit of kinetic energy. Our first bomb bay equipped stealth long range strike fighter. Download of the prototype pak fa plus the prototype ssn-22-1 will be available to KATEC members upon request, although I will allow non members of KATEC to acquire the craft file on case-by-case basis through PM's. One of the longest ranged aircraft ever made in KSP.

  17. No. We just don't have enough time to remake our craft with the new parts. I have the ideas, but I don't have the time atm.
  18. The issue is: the new parts don't fill in the some of the more specialized roles of the old parts. I just want the option of having the old parts back set in stone, but I'm willing to adapt my craft and rebuild them with the new parts.
  19. I'm going out soon, so I can't post the pictures right now, but have you tried making micro-drones with the new parts? I could fit two atmospheric drones in one mk-2 bay with the old parts, but the new aerodynamic components make them hilariously large. 0_o you're alive... Glad to have you back!
  20. Unfortunately, that 'lowest denominator' of spaceplane builders isn't as insignificant as you may believe.
  21. But their larger size makes them restrictive when building smaller craft.
  22. Doesn't that imply that you don't care about other's opinions? Agreed! :)
  23. Agreed. I'm just going to sit back and watch the threads spiral into madness.
  24. Procedural parts would be a godsend, but might created some issues for sharing craft. I'll be closely watching these developments.
