  1. Are there any words on smaller control surfaces, and whether or not they'll be phased out? If they are, I'll loose most of my interest in KSP.
  2. Don't worry, we've been busy with sp+... Heck, those two MK2 bomb bays blend in perfectly with the whole fuselage.
  3. I was thinking of making a V-Bomber replica with that bomb day design. How's it working out aerodynamically?
  4. ALL STOCK! Old K-2 Black Panther replica. This was a moving and firing test to determine the capability of the tank to fire on the move. F/A-18 SH. I have a lot more.
  5. You do realize this is an OLD ship, although still a tough one. To answer your question, they're solid rocket propelled missiles, although they're only as good as scrap metal in the modern shipbuilding environment. PS: Not all that big? I see you're not that experienced yet, because bigger doesn't always correlate to better.
  6. I concur. Mods can addle the mind... hehe... I'd rather people tried using stock. What's the fun in making things too easy?
  7. I guess I'll have to rebuild everything. This is actually a good change, forcing us to clear out our old craft.
  8. 0_o Well, gosh darn it. I guess I'll have to update all of my aircraft once it come out... Do you think they'll remove the current control surfaces, too?
  9. Never forget... Bombers are intricate little craft. This one has two bomb bays.
  10. This trailer is awesome! I guess the avatar series transitions from more of a childish fun show to a game of thrones esque political espionage thriller. (And did I mention... TOPH.) It seems Bolin is a high ranking metal clan officer, there's a three year jump, and a reference from Kuvira's army / invasion to the Communist Revolution in China which overthrew the Kuomintang Party. If President Raiko's inspiration was Sun Yat-sen, then Mao/Lenin/Kuvira/Hitler is going to make his life quite miserable. Kuvira... anyone getting a marxist vibe... I mean, the Metal Clan's military looks like the Third Reich before Operation Barbarossa, or one of their Nuremberg Rallies. (It also looks like the North Korean invasion of South Korea, considering both the Metal Clan/Earth Kingdom are technically the same people.) I guess the Fire Nation's an analogue to the United States after WWII: Most of the world's gold reserves, half of the global GDP, advanced technology, and a huge industrial base. Pearl harbor/Dunkirk Evacuation, anyone? Yalta Conference, much? Varrick with some weird vial/generator thingies. Korra's liquid metal hallucination was probably from the swamp: http://avatar.wikia.com/wiki/The_Swamp (I do hate communists, though. They seized all of my Grandfather's assets, which included a huge swath of land, killed most of his family, and forced him to flee to South Korea... where he became a ROK colonel. )
  11. I should really get back into military space combat. I'm wondering how effective exo atmospheric versions of my aim-54 mounted on my destroyer would fare... I never had the chance to prove the destroyer in a full scale engagement. I guess I know where my future engineering will return to.
  12. The armored Corvette, USS Enforcer with only 46 tons of displacement and extremely durable armor. Weapons are not included due to their classified nature, and this ship has not been through all trials yet due to a lack of time. Download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7vcvjxqxw10fo6r/UKN%20Perry.craft?dl=0 Bonus: Don't let the North Koreans drive your ships. No ships were hurt in the making of these screenshots. It survived quite a few torpedo strikes without even a scratch. I have an APC/Troop carrier under construction, but this ship can go on land, too. Future naval projects will take priority after the completion of the first fully operational AIM-54 Phoenix and the NCADE missile for boost phase and terminal phase interception along with anti AWAC based roles in combat. One possible reference design for my future combat vessel. The AIM-54 could be upgraded into a version of the AGM-65, which is already in limited deployment. Any potential AGM-65 naval deployments will have to take place on my new ships, but you're all welcome to try to cram my outdated exocet missile on the corvette.
  13. I'll start: Frank Sinatra: New York, New York. And a more modern song: Florence + The Machine: Kiss with a fist.
  14. Technically not an anime, but... 1. The Legend of Korra (Season 3 was amazing.) 2. Avatar: The Last Airbender (Everyone I know still likes it.) Then, if you're feeling futuristic... 1. Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2. Ghost in the Shell: 2nd Gig
  15. I present the bane of countless companies, the Avro Vulcan. Cruising speed in excess of 200 m/s, over 2500 units of fuel, two mk2 bomb bays, a new glass cockpit, and so much more... Key toggle: 1. bomb bay doors toggle Downloads: Clean version with no missiles: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jrg16stmge4xuav/Avro%20Vulcan%20Modern%20MKII_5%20CA.craft?dl=0 With prototype AIM-54 Phoenix missiles: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a2jx3c9y7mv49ym/Avro%20Vulcan%20Modern%20MKII_5%20Testbed.craft?dl=0 Rain shock and awe against your enemies with the 14 KM ranged AIM-54. It breaks 400 m/s in ground attacks, but it's designed to engage bombers and cruise missiles at long ranges. Up next are a host of improvements to the AIM-54 Phoenix. Falklands:
  16. I'm still sticking to upgrading my AIM-9 missiles for my main weapon. BD Armory seems to be extremely buggy.
  17. Space based threats? No worries, the USAF has you covered.
