  1. Yup.. Basic human nature.. We have issues outside internet forums. Thankfully we all seem to be mature enough to not get 12 year old on Xbox Live about it.
  2. I started and it's not the same.. He changed a lot with the configuration over time besides just the texture.. It's not a big deal and was cranky as hell this morning... That's really what it boils down too.
  3. I'm not upset, even if it came off that way.. It's just.. Earth doesn't look like Earth as we know it anymore.. It doesn't look "bad" but it's not an accurate portrayal of Earth clouds anymore like it has in past interations. It doesn't trick your mind that earth has weather and wind patterns anymore.. It gives you the impressions cottonballs are there and earth rotates under them..
  4. When did Earths clouds get changed? I missed a few revisions before updating today.. I'm not a fan of them at all.. It's ugly and unrealistic. The current cloud implementation has static "popcorn" look as if there are no jet streams or air currents, weather fronts moving around on Earth Older version. Very distinct look to the clouds to give the impression of wind currents, and weather fronts moving across the land. Picture perfect "Blue Marble" look. What is currently in game.. Looks like just random blotches of cloud textures with absolutely no direction or form to them.. You would think Earth is a windless planet where clouds just hover in place.. Not a "Blue Marble".. It's.. Not Earth
  5. Serious.. @sDaZe and @Berlin.. A long time lurker in the KSP community, and part time commenter.. This is easily one of the most striving, over achieving (in a good way), difference making mod developments I've seen in ages. So many flash in the pan great mods and..... The developer drops off the face of the earth.. You two are a fantastic team to push forward, extend, and advance the status quo of expectations.. Seriously.. Great job and if you guys ever reach that burn out period. Pass the baton because what you've guys put together went from "this is neat" to "I can't live without this"..
  6. Scatterer bug... F5 to quicksave, hold F9 to reload..
  7. Rareden's Real 8k Skybox.. It's for Texture Replacer.. You need to remove Distant Object Enhancer though for texture replacer skyboxes to appear. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bglrwv6p6o4p7sn/AABvudVRx7OMjnpY-vuqz2gsa It's my favorite skybox ever
  8. Anyone able to land on the moon with MechJeb? Every single time it crashes into the surface while braking. It's almost as if the Moon isn't truly stock size but MechJeb thinks otherwise Edit: Think I fixed it.. It was MechJeb Embedded...
  9. @sDaZe That lunar dust looks fantastic.. Good call on adding it.. Perfect mix of realism with some kerbalism added
  10. What resolution RSS textures are you using? What resolution SVE are you using? How much RAM does your system have.. Because if it has to resort to virtual memory.. Yep.. Stutterville. I'm using 8192 and Ultra.. I mean.. My frames are low at times especially during launch but not coming to a grinding halt and my game is eating up 8GB of RAM at times.. VRAM I usually eat 1.2GB
  11. High School: Pfft. Math.. When will I ever need this in the real world.. Real world: No one told me math would be involved.
  12. @Berlin Yeah.. The top pic is definitely overkill and unsightly.
  13. There may be a patch for OpenGL users.. One of the guys in the thread is going to every planet and configuring Scatterer to rid of the rings around planets under OpenGL.. It's an OpenGL issue unfortunately. You could for now just delete Scatterer
  14. Are you running in an OpenGL environment? Because the hard edge around planets was solved yesterday but persists in OpenGL environments and not much the devs can do about that
  15. Well. It isn't exactly Kerbin-Scale atmospheres. Space "begins" at 98k w/ SSRSS.. So it's a bit further out than stock
  16. I start getting my reentry affects at 30k.. I think in stock it was more around 38k (ish)
  17. Pretty neat when someone ports something then adds in something the original never had.. Glad I dropped that article about the dust storms.. This is shaping up pretty cool and will give the moon some life
  18. I was just trying to say.. Your idea, while visually isn't the most accurate isn't scientifically inaccurate either.. That dust from the storm travels.

  20. Reentry effects are fine here also.. Never an issue.
  21. Just goes to show.. Doesn't matter if someone has 14 posts, or 1400 posts.. Anyone can waltz in and make a difference.
  22. Always loved this addon. Glad to see it revived. Thank you! When SkyLab and Cacteye join forces.
