After reading some of the launch tips I am getting some nice stable (not burning up) launches now. Great work. Edit: Oooh. New test update in between posts! Nice! Fueling up!
About to run out the door to work but wanted to followup on this thread.. Thanks for the info LazarusLuan.. Glad to know that's how it's supposed to be. That's some crazy power.
Holy acceleration batman. Don't know if I installed wrong (copy/pasted overwrote when prompted).. Even limiting MechJeb to Terminal Velocity it's burning up at 18m out of the atmosphere because it's so fast.. Might try a clean install and see if maybe my install is fubared
^ This... Kerbal is the only reason I keep an up to date Linux install on my rig. The x64 client is stable and I can throw anything at it without concern.
Are you talking about docking where my Soyuz craft is docked in the above picture? The Mir core doesn't have a docking port placed in that one area it's just a empty cavity.. You need to add a dock port there before sending up the Mir core.. I made the mistake the first time I started building it also.. Realizing there was a docking port missing
Not sure what you mean.. I just sent up Kvant-1.. From what I looked up that is the tug. There is a part in the list without the tug (the section with the solar panels etc)
From my experience in the Train Simulator and Flight Simulation scenes which I've been involved in for a decade now most of these companies do not care about you using their logos as long as you are not in any way turning a profit from them, misrepresenting or slandering them as a whole.
This version still refuses to work right on Linux 64bit.. No idea about Windows.. Either by clean install or overwriting 7-3.. 7-3 continues to be the only flawless version for me.
I did a search and couldn't turn up much. Is there a documentation, or overview or such of what parts configurations to send up to build the space station etc. I love the orbiters and they fly like a dream but I constantly get into head scratching moments trying to load the cargo bay correctly.
