  1. http://i.imgur.com/LoM4xFo.jpg Here's my six. How odd. Haven't done a complete return to stock yet but took out some mods that I thought might've been responsible, still no IVA
  2. Yeah the IVA issue was still present in 32-bit. All other cockpits work fine. I'm going to try to find the time to strip the mods out today and see if any of them are responsible, but to be honest I haven't got the biggest mod collection going - certainly nothing unique.
  3. I'm 'not asking' anyone to hook me up with anything, but I was doing some troubleshooting today and stupidly verified my game cache without backing up the 64-bit files, which were duly replaced with crummy 32-bit. Now everything is janky. My internet is hanging by a thread right now and I literally can't download stuff (I don't mean 'it takes a week', I mean - nada). Again, completely 'not' asking anyone to message me through my YT channel or on here with any advice on how I can get 64 bit working again, because things were running beautifully and now they're not and can't fix
  4. Verifying the cache didn't seem to fix it. As an aside it seems to have kicked out the 64-bit hack.
  5. Yep to Steam, There's one of them in flight without the pilot portrait, I'll see about a log
  6. Hi guys, I'm about to strip my KSP install down to stock and slowly reintroduce all of the mods I've got in an effort to figure this out, but before I go through that I figured I'd ask - has anyone else encountered just the small Mk1 airplane cockpit having a missing IVA? The pilot's portrait isn't there, and 'C' doesn't get me to the IVA. I can still click the door and get the little Kerman out, and the module is controllable. I haven't had this issue with any other cockpit, stock or otherwise. Specifically, I mean the pointy Mk1 cockpit, not the inline model. Thanks for your time either way!
  7. Photoshop sorry. I just had the pod oriented the same way and took two shots haha. I have no idea if anyone will ever think of a way to make the IVA render through just the windows so that this sort of effect is possible, but I'll like slip them $5 under the desk if they can make it happen.
  8. This mod makes me wish Squad had gone with transparent windows from the start. http://i.imgur.com/C2jGg8R.jpg It would probably only make a difference if you're using the cupola, but I've always found the flat blue windows to be an annoyance.
  9. I voted for 60%. Probably in an hour or two I'll feel like I'm lowballing it a bit. I think the game is more or less scope complete. But it's not really 'atmosphere' complete. I can't imagine playing the game without Chatterer. Other than the Mun, it feels like the other astronomical bodies haven't had an art pass since they first came out. The soundtrack also hasn't really ever been expanded. Other than part packs, most of my mods are ones that try to add the character you'd expect in a 'finished' game. Probe Control Room is another example. Just for the regularity with which we see people saying about a mod, "WHY ISN'T THIS STOCK?" - I think it's fair to say the game isn't a full experience on its own. I'm not knocking Squad by any means, I love KSP, and there's no 'but' coming after that sentence. It's fun even in stock form, and the mods just add to it. I hope Squad are able to keep adding to the game for a good while yet.
  10. I've been begging for this mod or some form of it - thanks so much for knocking this together.
  11. I've always liked Shadow of the Moon for the 'no narrator, just astronauts' approach. Thanks for the kind words
  12. Most of us probably prefer to think of them as forever young, haha.
  13. Sort of a micro-movie compared to the last time that I tried to do anything cinematic in KSP. Disappointingly I accidentally crushed the video quality a few times during editing and didn't have an opportunity to re-record anything. Not really sure what other subjects to visit while making KSP shorts. I'm still hanging out for someone to make a free camera mod for IVA. Anyone else feel this way?? Haha.
  14. Love the mod, it's really helping soundify my KSP install. What with RCS sounds, rover sounds and Chatterer, it's all feeling a bit more complete. I've put sound effects from Star Wars into my install; mainly because I find the "thooomph" of Darth Vader's helmet going on to be very comical. Anyway, thanks for making this thing, it's a cool mod.
  15. I've been playing a game called Sol 0 - it's a base building direction I think Squad could go in if they really felt like it. I think it's way too early to think sequels to KSP though. I think it'd be fun to see them try something completely different, but I wouldn't be interested in KSP 2 until KSP 1 was finished.
  16. Would it be simpler to just learn how to add new camera 'spots' to cockpits? (y'know how when you double click at the front of the Mk2 cabin and you wind up with a rear facing view of the front seats?)
  17. I'm just surprised there aren't more requests for it, I've been assuming there's a big obstacle that I'm ignorant of. I had wondered if maybe there'd be an issue with headless Kerbals based on whoever you hit 'IVA' on *shrug* But being that there is some extended camera movement for people who use head trackers, I have to believe that there's a way to get free camera happening.
  18. Has anyone tried to make this happen yet? I've been Googling as hard as I can and can't seem to find any answers. Playing with the 'WASD Camera in SPH/VAB' mod has made me wonder if something similar can't be knocked together for IVA mode.
  19. Probably the world's most annoying question/request, but has anyone attempted to mod the IVA cameras yet? With a bit of mucking around I can use the cabin window perspectives to occasionally get a good look at my Kerbals, but I really wish they'd added a free floating camera.
  20. I guess - a return mission to any given body. Myself, I set the bar at Eve because it's one I have yet to properly figure out.
  21. I pretty much only bother with Scott Manley, although these days his missions feel frustratingly rationed out. I know he has to keep the interest built up, but yeah.
  22. I didn't wait for nukes, I found it wasn't really necessary. That being said, the design I came up with was pretty dang inefficient. At the time I was too excited at the prospect of it being my first return mission to Duna.
