  1. This just in, Laythe actually t-shirt shorts temprature, sand edible, nutritious, delicious. Sid's build a sand castle, developed cloning technology and set up a civilisation.
  2. FTFY. Something tells me whatever happens the reaction at KSC won't be pretty.
  3. Well, that was a part of the point of getting samples...
  4. My heart skipped a beat seeing that; I thought it was a Kerbol escape trajectory. Chapter 66: PROTEUS ARRIVES AT EARTH
  5. Absolutely yes. If it has them on maneuver nodes, why not elsewhere? What kind of sense does that make?
  6. I've actually run out of hate for him at this stage. I respect his badassery and he does have a point in what he says about Jeb (especially given what we've last seen) and the odds of survival for the Duna team. Still dislike him on a personal level but that's different. I also foresee some sort of heroic sacrifice but as yet predictions haven't really been coming true so much...
  7. Must admit there is quite a lot of mood whiplash though...
  8. I say Jeb suspects BERTY to be involved and shut everything down as a precaution.
  9. Tropes: Broken Ace. Type: Played Straight Character: Jeb. A skilled pilot and a (generally) admired leader, whenever Jeb is at work he is an Ace played straight. But the inactivity of the months between different planets and the deaths of crew members bring out deep personal problems, and it's clear that the time between Kadmos and proteus saw him sink pretty low too. "I know that guy was a hero once, but it was years ago. I helped the team in constructing his psychological profile boss, he's really a mess now. I just wonder is it a good idea to try to contact him at all." http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BrokenAce
  10. Trope: Well intentioned Extremist. Type: Played straight. BERTY and Rozer, have few to no qualms with doing just about anything, but only for the success of the mission or for the "good of kerbality"; neither are needlessly spiteful or selfish. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WellIntentionedExtremist
  11. Why bother when it takes up space that could be used for a hundred other things and I can just quick load if something goes wrong?
  12. Or indeed than he thought. Make someone think they know more than everyone else and they'll be happy to go along.
  13. I didn't stop using it. Smart ASS saves time, and manually executing 30 minute ion burns really isn't all that fun. Plot all my manoeuvres and do all my landing etc manually though; what would be the point of playing if I wasn't achieving anything myself.
  14. Sorry if this has been asked already, but is this going to need an update now that 23.5 is out? I'm getting no breathing or airlock sounds, except for one ship which decided to start breathing even when there were no kerbals in it.
  15. Now that other, nameless features which I was extremely invested in have been cancelled (put on indefinite hold, put through a woodchipper, swept under the rug, whatever) new planets or changes to the existing ones is pretty much all that could get me to come back to KSP beyond taking an hour or two to check the new update's features.
  16. Nah, I'm betting there'll be one crippled and traumatised survivor.
  17. I'm going to guess that BERTY installed himself into the station, and that he'll be back.
  18. Secretary, cancel all my appointments and mash f5.
  19. It happened way ages ago for me so I didn't take a screenshot, but I called it the Jemeni project (after Jeb), which made me chuckle a little
  20. Every New update I might spend 5 or 6 hours on the game but until we get substantive new content like new celestial bodies or resources I'm not going to be playing regularly.
  21. Safe to say it isn't going to be pretty, especially after such a length of time...
