An abstract science rating makes some sense, I guess, but how do data about the composition of Dres and the thickness of Eve's atmosphere come together to allow you to unlock larger landing legs/small radial engines...

Maybe, in addition to adding parts, R&D could upgrade them e.g. "Research new blutonium isotope discovered on Tylo to increase NERVA ISP to 950"

[AAR] The Grand Tour - Voyage To The Planets

Better to take enough sedatives to be knocked out down on the surface and die in your sleep than this slow and painful way. Though I suppose if he'd done that they wouldnt get the samples... -
What so you think is going to be in the .22 update?
PwnedDuck replied to Titan Space Agency's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Well, the. Number in the bottom left will go up by at least one... Probably... -
No pictures, but I had just detached a probe from the main Jool satellite on course to enter the Laythe atmosphere, and once it got there there were about five minutes where it was just drifting down over the north pole, litterally just a cube body with a battery, small panel, communicator and group of instruments...

A black, star-covered background with red rocket exhaust trails crossing it vertically in the center, please.

Loving this, Especially thinking up voices for different people (e.g. Jeb is Mal from Firefly)! -
You Will Not Go To Space Today - Post your fails here!

No pictures, but I remember pointing my sepratrons inwards... -
Atmospheric and Mineral composition of Planets

The Laythe ocean rumours are based in the temprature allegedly not being high enough for water to exist without it, which I found strange: everywhere I go on Laythe seems to be about 4-6 degrees, which is above freezing... -
Destroyed another space station by hitting Shift instead of Alt

That's why you allways disable engines on bases and stations. It can get annoying if not... -
Features you are not looking forward to/dreading.

Here's hoping that heat shields will be deployabe or inflatable or something like that: I wouldn't want t take off with one slowing me down... -
I love the idea of life support, but of it needs specific parts and the update that brings it does not break compatibility, all my kerbals are likely to be killed by lack of it. Were the module needed to keep them alive implemented before life support itself, I might be able to save some by docking it to stations, but my bases and independent missions would be lost. Most of all, I'm not looking toward to aerodynamics and reentry heat. Most of my designs are heavy, and require massively unaerodynamic asparagi to get anywhere, so those wouldn't work anymore. Most of my operations make heavy use of aerobreaking where it's possible, so if the heavy g forces already have a tendency to year them apart, I can't imagine them also spontaneously exploding is going to make my day any better.

I always side mount jet engines: they work like fuel efficient, extremely light SRBs. The only problem in that mechjeb can't work out their Dv additions and gets confused by them into not detaching stages, so I need to do it manually.

Thompmore Kerman (is there even such a thing as thomping?). He has a sequel called Thompmore Kerman 2:Thomp Harder

What type of Tutorial Would You find most useful? [Tutorial Made!]
PwnedDuck replied to buzz66boy's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Hohman transfers are, unless you know basic orbital physics, completely unintuitive, and I had to spend a lot of time online to find out how to do them at all. Planning and executing rendezvous isn't exactly clear right off the bat either, so that would also help. My first rendezvous was basically just an accident that came about from playing about with maneuver nodes till I got one. -
In my experience Laythe is about 4-5 degrees, so a chilly but reasonable autumn morning, and definitely hot enough for liquid water, without ammonia needed. If kerbals can do in 24 years what we haven't done in 50 (in terms of space exploration), whose to say they can't create some kind of personal radiation protection.

Duna has had some changes apparently. Have yet to go there, but from the tracking station it looks flatter overall, but more rough. Matte, I guess. Eve is pretty similar: flat, but rough. Here's hoping the tallest point has not been lowered, because launching from there does not need to be harder... IIRC, five places were redone, so with Eve, Kerbin, Duna and Mun, that leaves one. Anybody?

No, Jeb is actually coded to be always happy specifically: He has a trait, "badass", that does the same when added to any other Kerbal...

Career mode will probably be fine, but it annoys me that an unfinished sandbox is put on hold to work on it. I'd far rather all gameplay were finished first, so that exactly what form career mode would take ought to be obvious from the contents of the game at that time.

I have to point out, despite the Mun being just about as bright as before for me, my ship lights don't seem to actually have any effect on it at all. They had electricity, and they worked on Minmus once I got there, so I think they might need looking at...

Which we now do not have. Isn't progress wonderful?

He is probably the best KSP player I have DVD seen, but by the time I started watching his videos I already knew what I was doing. There's only so much you can emulate him without getting a university degree in physics of your own...

More planets, or more detail in planets (e.g. Weather). I don't really care about career mode, and will probably be playing mostly sandbox even at release. I guess getting anything sizeable to planets beyond Jool would also hugely benefit from resources, so for me they are priority preference #2.

Storebought KSP, ASAS not working if what It's supposed to do is point the rockets where I told It to.
