I'm going to create a mod that allow to create any engine ingame(rocket, jet, prop, car engine, ion, etc). The mod will work dividing engine in section each configurable ex;(for prop engine) propeller(s), blades, shaft, gear box,air intake(s), exhaust(s), engine(s)(piston, tuboprop, electric, rocket????). I need your help too find how to balance everything. (jet and prop)

Nope; when two wings are aligned, the turbulence of the first makes the second useless. (in real life) There is, of course, exception. ex: body lift design

You think this is big? Wait for my modular plane. Can be expended as much as you want. (or as much as your computer can support) Only pitch and yaw are affected. Second BAF catalog is coming soon with a lot of unstandard contraption.

Baaaa just keep towing all the way. Goal was to make a different kind of cargo plane where cargo is supported by its own wing and can be passenger (crew cab) Batch-editing save files and vessel designs using text processing utilities. Run powershell, go to directory where you have the script and launch it by typing ".\aa.ps1" (without quotes). If you're on Linux, I'm sure you'll cope with the task on your own. upd: and you can restrict it to only one save by specifying it in the first line, like "...\saves\MySave"

I do my best. Also feel free to correct me. Our goal is to help others aircraft company by fine-tuning, repair, enhance,..., their craft. For now this thread only concern about atmospheric(KERBIN) flying vehicle excluding vtol, ssto*, flaps engine and rocket. Space shuttle and ssto are accepted but I'll only take a look at their atmospheric standalone performance, don't blame me if it loose deltaV. I prioritize submission for Kerbal Express Airlines Challenge. To be select your craft must be nearly finish in its general design, be submit in this KerbalX hangar (Public Overhaul Workshop - request) and have a post you've make on this thread that contain the information listed below. Available mod: Tweakscale, Airplane+ and KAX I work on latest version only; 1.4.3 Needed information (unit; km, m/s, m, G, kallons, metric tons(t)(1000Kg), kallons/s, funds or $): (Ignore this as long as you state clearly what you want and what I can or can not do) -General parameters with min/max/target value (if applicable); cost, mass, speed, part count(max 300 without strut, not strict), fuel, range(speed*fuel/fuel_burn_rate)(at cruise), cruise altitude, cruise speed, cruise efficiency liberty( | most_eff_fuelBR - actual_fuelBR | or | most_eff_range - actual_range | )(does it need to be the most efficient), passenger, cargo capacity(mass), take-off speed,and more. -Any other constraint like don't move wing or no clipping. What autopilot do you suggest? (that do not cause any problem when removed or added) The only thing I need is cruise control. Target altitude with max pitch and AoA and target speed (edit) AAAAAAAAA atomsphereautopilot is to good won't remove it. Non AA user gonna have to fix control surface by themselves! (Or ask me for correct config)

That's a problem since the Antollo and Megalovania can blow up or be uncontrollable without a correct configuration of control surface.

NEED ATMOSPHEREAUTOPILOT TO AVOID RESET OF CONTROL SURFACE Otherwise limit them by following this patern (for non delta wing config: rudder=yaw only, horizontal on tail and front is pitch only, wing extremity roll only, wing central none(flaps)) (for delta wing config: rudder=yaw only, horizontal front is pitch only, wing roll and pitch) For max deflection set it to fit your preference. For front and central wings flaps should deploy downward, for back wings flaps should deploy upward. Be aware of NONAAP as it mean exception(ex: to high pitch=disintegration) and will give more info. As I post a lot of craft I'll put an * before the name of craft that I really want to be reviewed. Not written in the OP 7.5 m Anyway a plane that big is more for lol than anything else. The 162 size 2 crew cabin mean a ludicrously high price. (5 163 127 000) Would like to have some feedback on this one.

I'm mad, all my big aircraft(my 2 super jumbo and my mega jumbo) have the same problem; lag induced explosion. They can pull 15g turn for the 5 first minutes(from when I start the game) without problem then it start lagging and any part that get more than 4g explode aka wings, fins, flaps, airbreaks and more. Someone have an idea to counter the problem?

There might be a more accurate way to math range. Maybe with deltaV. Reasonning: We suppose that during cruise flight the plane (1)to keep the same speed, altitude and heading (implies throttle(to keep same speed as the craft is getting ligther twr augment and drag value change(see pitch management)) and pitch management(to keep same altitude as the craft is getting ligther less lift force is needed). Or (2)from a starting speed and a constant altitude fix throttle (implies pitch mangement). Or (3)from a starting altitude constant speed fix pitch (implies throttle management). Or (4)from a starting speed and altitude fix throttle and pitch (max throttle, 0 degree pitch with angled wings is the best in my opinion). Or (5) step cruise naaaaaaaa won't get in that. so steps, flight event one time only(fix value): takeoff at full tank(-fuel), reheading(is that a word?) 180 degree turn(-fuel)(+range), landing and final approach worst scenario(-fuel)(+range) one or more time in any order(context value semi efficient): ascent(-fuel)(+range), descent(or glide)(-fuel)(+range), acceleration(-fuel)(+range), decceleration(-fuel)(+range) then with the remainning fuel minus a security % we calculate the cruise range using a mathematic expression(see below) and we add the other range. finish a possible mathematic expression or alternative: ''''going to sleep I'll add my idea tomorrow''''

I found that the game is still playable with 221 addons loaded. Well... if you don't mind waiting 40 minutes for the game to load.
