I congratulate the KSP team for making this purchase happen. Having TakeTwo onboard will provide necessary resources to make KSP better. Saying that I have two mayor concerns with "growing" this already great game. Growth requires to have a purpose otherwise growth for the sake of growing is the motto of a cancer cell. Concern 1 - DRM. Currently with the exception of the Steam and Console versions it is not existent. No DRM has more positives than negatives and having TakeTwo onboard may change that indie game option. Concern 2 - Mods and Modders. I enjoy Vanilla KSP but KSP+MODS takes the game to a different level that only modders can provide. Take Two should embrace mods and modders as KSP team has done. No exceptions. Instead TakeTwo should provide tools and guidelines to modders to take the game to a different level. DLC and mods can co-exist, it has been seen with KSP and many other game (i.e. ARMA, IL2, etc.) I see the glass half full and just wish much success to all involved with such a great game: Kerbal Space Program.

Bienvenido! Welcome back! Great to see you post here Proot. I see how much KSP has influenced you (or the other way around?) your work IRL! Keep up the great work and the music is great (reminds me of "Heissel").

Hello @Ginlucks Research is a beautiful thing. Just one on page 129 (just one page behind) I had posted the following: 1- Install a fresh version of KSP v 1.2.0 or 1.2.2 without any other mods. 2 - Install KSPRC v 0.7 Pre Release 3 3 - Delete the following Add-ons that KSPRC v 0.7 Pre Release 3 installed: Texture Re-placer, Environmental Visual Enhancements (EVE), Scatter, Korpernicus, Kopernicus Expansion, Distant Object Enhancement and Planet Shine 4- Download and install the latest version of the following Add-ons/Mods that work with KSP v1.2.0 or above: "Texture Replacer" by shaw (MIT license / Copyright © 2013-2015 Davorin Učakar, Ryan Bray) "Environmental Visual Enhancements" by Rbray89 (MIT license / Copyright © 2013 Ryan Bray) "Scatterer" by blackrack (GPLv3 / Copyright © 2015 Ghassen Lahmar) "Kopernicus" by Thomas P. with NathanKell and KillAshley (GNU GPL / Created by BryceSchroeder and Teknoman117) "Kopernicus Expansion" by MrHappyFace (GNU GPL) "Distant Object Enhancement" by MOARdV (Creative Commons [cc-by] / Created by Rubber Ducky) "PlanetShine" by Valerian (Apache license 2.0 / Copyright 2014, Valerian Gaudeau) 5- Run KSP v1.2.0 or 1.2.2 with only KSPRC and test if it works now.

@milosv123344 Hello! That is very odd but again I have not attempted to run it with KSP v1.2.2. Have you attempted to do the same with KSP v1.2.0? If so, did you get the same FPS drop? After trying with KSP v1.2.0 here is what I recommend that you try the following which was happening to @String Witch with the Mun:

Hello @Araym! Thank you for the great detailed explanation on how to resolve the transparency issue on my own. In my case I resolved it by using an existing suit package like Green Skull's.
-
Hello @Climberfx ! Glad that it resolved that problem for you. Enjoy!
-
@ClimberfxHola! Claro que si! Here is what I was told that helped me: By the way, me gusto mucho tu trabajo con las transperencias!
-
@Climberfx Hello! I was able to resolve the problem with the the visors not being semi-transparent but still have the issue with reflection anomalies. Were you able to solve the reflection problem?
-
@Syatus Hello! Yes and No. Yes, if you update to the latest version on all dependent add-on mods most of KSPRC will work. No, by default KSPRC v 0.7 Pre Release 3 will not work with KSP v1.2.2. Here is the list of dependent add-ons that KSPRC uses that require to be updated: "Texture Replacer" by shaw (MIT license / Copyright © 2013-2015 Davorin Učakar, Ryan Bray) "Environmental Visual Enhancements" by Rbray89 (MIT license / Copyright © 2013 Ryan Bray) "Scatterer" by blackrack (GPLv3 / Copyright © 2015 Ghassen Lahmar) "Kopernicus" by Thomas P. with NathanKell and KillAshley (GNU GPL / Created by BryceSchroeder and Teknoman117) "Kopernicus Expansion" by MrHappyFace (GNU GPL) "Distat Object Enhancement" by MOARdV (Creative Commons [cc-by] / Created by Rubber Ducky) "PlanetShine" by Valerian (Apache license 2.0 / Copyright 2014, Valerian Gaudeau) and this is how you then set them up in order for KSPRC to work:

@Drew Kerman Hello! Thank you very much. Your tip resolved the problem! For future reference: The "shadows.cfg" file is located within your KSPRC root folder. I deleted the file and problem was solved. You can still have eclipses by using the "scatterer" mod and enabling this option on it's start screen.

@Poodmund Hello! Thank you for the response. Where do I disable Eclipses within EVE? Respectfully, THX-1138 @Avera9eJoe Hello again. I am running Win7x64 KSPv1.2.0 with updated versions of EVE and scatterer mods over KSPRC v0.7 PR3.

@Avera9eJoe Hello! You are correct, this is what I get in "map" mode (see screenshots). Is this how it should look or I should just disable this feature? Thank you for responding.

@Li0n Thank you for the pointer! I will check this option within the scaterer mod. P.D.: I looked with scatterer\config\config.cfg and set useEclipses = False but the dark circles still come up.

Hello to all, Here is another anomaly that I have found during my pursuit of having KSPRC run perfectly with KSP v1.2.0. Your assistance on helping me resolve it is appreciated. From the tracking station I see huge dark circles on planets with moons, I think it is an issue with the shadows:

@katateochi You are welcome! Maybe there is a conflict somewhere with some other mod. Are you only using the default config (@Default.cfg) and you have set the following option? reflectionType = static If so or not, let me know. I know how it feels when you wish that all looks perfect within KSP.
-
@katateochi: I found the files within the "TextureReplacer" folder found within PROOT's latest version of "The Renaissance Compilation" (KSPRC): I hope that helps you! Respectfully, THX-1138
