That's true, but the current resolution is already very, very high. BTW, it's only the Mün and Kerbin, the rest of the planets don't have biomes (yet).

With the recent 0.22 update they added "biomes". I was wondering if it was possible to make a biome overlay, because I'm curious about it.

I've seen quite a few planet render art thingies around, so I gave it a try. Here you go! I hope you like it.

Take a random launch, any launch is OK. Take a look at the rocket right after lift-off and you see these pieces of (... stuff?) flying off. I took an random image of a falcon-9 launch off the internet, and edited it a bit. This clearly shows stuff falling off the rocket right after lift-off. Sooo... I was wondering what this stuff is, and why it falls off. And fun fact here, it's one of the few things, of which you just need to know what it is, to look up what it is. (Or of course, it really is not on the internet... Meh, probably just hard to find.)
