  6. This is an excellent point. MJ dv math includes some code to properly work with some mods that requires it. It is unlikely you ll get that in a stock version of MJ or KER. They can't add bits of code to adapt to every mod quirk and even if they did it would takes month, if not a year to end up in a KSP patch
  7. Know that texture are decompressed when loaded by the game and that a 2048x2048 png texture will use 16MB of memory (even more on dx9). Compressing it in a DDS would use 4MB (DXT5) or 2MB (DXT1)
  8. It seems that there is a bug with the settings saving for some players. I guess it s related to how you change screens because it works for me... Also the "Show in..." settings is not to choose if the windows is open or not but to hide it in the editor or flight mode

  11. I managed to get it to work without too many changes. Some FX may look different so if you find large changes take pict in 1.3 + 1.4 and show me what is wrong. 2.8.0: KSP 1.4 support. MODEL_MULTI_PARTICLE_PERSIST is gone and only MODEL_MULTI_SHURIKEN_PERSIST is there now. Support for single transform fx (RCS) SmokeScreen-2.8.0.0.zip
  12. Now that you set the beta to none you should try to check the file again. If it does not work then you should indeed uninstall and re-download (no need to buy it again!! Go to your Steam Game list and press the install Button)
  13. In the same window where you checked the file go to the BETAS tab and make sure it s set on NONE

  15. Can you explain what you actually want to do ? Because those settings are usually available without interacting with the UI system.
  16. SmokeScreen is one of the mods that is heavily impacted by the update. I fixed some of the code on my PC but it only showed that I should rewrite part of it now that stock uses Shuriken. So it may takes "some time"™
