  1. It looks like this guy... only more... I don't know.
  2. Banned because it's a devious plan that I could support...
  3. Since the Unity Engine (and thus KSP) is written primarily in C#, all you need to do is convert to C# and the Unity syntax. Here's the script reference to get you started: http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/ScriptReference/ The KSP syntax is a little weird, but I wouldn't expect you to need it all that much for something that depends almost entirely on rigidbodies (which are core Unity components). We don't even have that much stuff to go off of, but it's available on the wiki if you need it. I'd like to see what you can come up with, it was an interesting conversation to say the least.
  4. So much feels! Once I started to get into KSP last December I began to gain the overview effect as a part of my regular consciousness, I can't help but try and see myself from other peoples' perspectives and understand how I make an impact on them. It's also made me realize that we're just tiny little people in a huge universe, doing random stuff because we can. It's quite scary. Fortunately I know there's One who always watches over me, and I start thinking of how utterly awesome it is that we have the ability to do what we do because we want to. Man, if I was an atheist, I would be one lost, sad, confused dude.
  5. Perlin noise is your friend for random terrain generation, if you use Blender then I'm sure there's a plugin for it somewhere.
  6. See this bacon mustache and incredible muscles and understand how they boast the truth!
  7. Banned for going to the Mun and assuming Jeb would never do something
  8. Banned for being an octopus with a doctorate degree
  9. Yes, if I intend to be gone for more than a few minutes. No if I know that it'll be a short break to grab food or something.
  10. Banned because we do extensions of bans a lot on this thread.
  11. Romfarer did Lazors... Ferram did FAR (Ferram Aerospace Research). They do plan on redoing the aerodynamic system, but that's pretty far (badum-tish) into the future.
  12. I think using Kerbalized science fiction author names for dignitaries would be cool and somewhat ironic. Obert Keinlein, anyone?
  13. *Opens thread* INFORMATION!!! Cool ideas, I'll have to read your full article sometime. So basically what I understand is that every timestep, the orbit is recalculated in case something arbitrarily changes (continually recalculated in case of acceleration) and we have pseudo-n-body gravitational fields using Newtonian physics? The interesting thing about using more accurate numbers like doubles instead of floats (I think KSP uses floats right now) is that we get a lot more accuracy (several orders of magnitude, if memory serves) in exchange for double the amount of computing power of a float (thus the name "double").
  14. Back to the topic... That A-Wing's gonna have a hard time versus all those turrets and aircraft...
  15. Banned because "knifing" will be the death of you
  16. Cruisin' past KCIA... Marathon International's prototype airship, Ozymandias, has touched down at Bobcat Industries. Why? I guess they wanted to show off their skills at landing it... Next they'll go for the top of the towers!
