  1. Love love LOVE the sphere-pod! Finally, the one thing KSP was truly lacking... SPACEBALLS! (oh $€£¥, there goes the planet) But seriously, any chance of a slightly larger 2-man version ala Voskhod (trouble prone inflatable airlock completely optional of course)? and/or conspiring with nothke to make the current 2-man-to-2.5-meter shroud a useable space?
  2. Erg... speaking of fails, how do I set it so that albums display vertically all at once instead of one big pic with thumbnails? Yes, the album IS set to blog-style in imgur but even after dissecting other's posts all morning I can't see what I'm doing wrong.

  5. I dunno, can I? I honestly haven't even started playing with this mod yet, just going off of what I've skimmed thru this thread. I still have another 10-15 orange tanks to launch before I'm even ready to try moving it under its own power. Alpha Centauri would probably be easier, I've picked about the worst place in the Kerbol System to send ANYTHING to, let alone 350 tons of it!
  6. Request here, could this be tweaked to add an option to automatically empty the lowest tank first? I've got a thousand-ton space train (engines in front, most fuel at the back, tanks dropped from there as they empty) set to leave for Moho soon and that would really be helpful.
  7. Afraid you are indeed SOL unless you quick saved prior to your universe going all 19 on you. That's a known and annoying bug, Kerbin, apparently, is made of porcelain and is easily broken (along with the rest of your save) if you hit it just so. You're actually lucky to have surviveed with just a dismembered space ship, and not a completely borked save file. You could try sending a rescue mission, but if they're already on a solar escape course, you're going to need one L of a rescue ship.
  8. What line specifically? I've tried tweaking it with no luck. And I seem to be getting a lot of bugged un-undockable docking ports when using these struts...
  9. Subscribed! And as a suggestion, making the nosecone it's own probe core for s2 use would be most helpful! I always seem to end up with an unmanned shuttle-c based on the s2 when i use b9.
  10. Actually, I believe the problem is the brakes work a lil TOO well.
  11. Just a quick question... what tweak do I need to make where to be able to add the lil Pegasus ladder to a storage box? Or a Mechjeb box for that matter? ... and apparently I'm missing some sort of trick to make placed engines work? It says Oxidizer deprived? They're attached to a tank with plenty of both...

  13. Expound plz. I've got a 2.5m non-upgraded (how do you upgrade anyway?) reactor, and one tank each of the fuels, which are half empty by deafault?
  14. Now the thorium link isn't working Like a few step by step guides on the major parts so it's not just "throw bits together on the launch pad and see what lets you right click. ". I'm just trying to figure out how to swap reactor fuels at the moment. I've got supplies of uranium and thorium, I get the swap fuel button in EVA after the reactor's cooled, but nothing seems to happen when I click it.
  15. The magnetometer page on the wiki doesn't seem to be working, it just reloads the main page. As a newcomer to this mod, the wiki is kinda helpful but a bit random... How about an actual tutorial or "quick start" for those familiar with the basic game? Things seem to work a lot differently and this is an awful long thread to wade thru.
  16. Actually it's something related to AIES aerospace, but probably a memory issue. Yet Scott Manley is able to run this with B9??? When does waste heat kick in in stock career?
  17. Perhaps I'm missing something that should be obvious here, but something with this mod is cutting off my keyboard & causing other problems. Just started playing around with it, and whenever I go to the map view & return my keyboard stops working, I loose all buttons in the right-click context menu, and I can't click anything at all if I exit to the main game menu. Exiting to KSC and reloading thru the tracking station gives me back control, UNTIL I go back to the map view. Um, help?
  18. Running latest kethane, and one way or the other I've installed EL for the last time. All I can get from the build menu is a blank window from the SPH button, and all it has is another button that wants me to select a flag? .... And breaks the load button in the actual SPH <facepalm>
  19. OK, trying to follow here... and what am I missing if I bring up the build menu, it tells me I must select a ship, but clicking on the select ship button does nothing?
  20. Forgive me, I don't have time to read thru all 150-some pages of the old closed threat. For clueless folks like me who wander along into this one, could someone please post a quick & dirty version of how to get the smelting setup to work?? It took me 10 minutes just to figure out the smelter has to be attached to ore/metal cans. And just sticking a auger to that mess doesn't seem to do anything at all?

  22. Lol how long does it take to get all those Kerbals to their seats? "Please return your seatbacks and tray tables to their full upright and locked positions, and use caution when exiting the aircraft as your appendages may have shifted during landing."
  23. Pardon my ignorance here, is there a post in this HUGE thread or elsewhere that gives a breakdown of WHERE in the tech tree the various MechJeb functions are unlocked? My wife really needs the maneuver node planner to bring Jeb back from the middle of freakin' nowhere.
