My god thank you, there are so many space opera games out there, only 2 that I know of that use physics, I don't understand why the fact the kerbals are green makes people want to turn 1 of the 2 physics based games into another silly space opera.

I'd love some sort of part or parts to make 2 stage landers (apollo style) easier to build, like some sort of frame I guess. Everything I try to build becomes this super tall stack which isn't right or this ugly ungangly thing with fuel tanks strapped to the outside totallly unnaturally.

If they have technology similar to us but interstellar travel, then we're talking generationship I guess, they've been traveling for say 3000 years, but even that doesn't add up, as that would take technology far beyond us to pull off.

I'm so glad you're talking about keeping that optional. I'll be honest, I prefer the time delays and realism of RemoteTech, but I use your mod simply because the whole remotetech thing of "Oh, my probe fell past the horizon and no one bothered to drive over there and set up an antenna first" hurts my suspension of disbelief.

At this point I've paid less than a cent per hour of entertainment for KSP. The only other game I've ever gotten so cheap is minecraft.

I voted for Foodstuff water and waste management I like the detail of this mod, the 'realism' (I know that's sometimes a dirty word on these forums.) But I often use TAC over this as I like counting water and food. I recently listened to this short story http://escapepod.org/2015/05/01/ep491-heavens-touch/ and a big part of it is thirst and starvation space suit, and seeing as how big of a deal humidity is in real space stations I'd love to see what a mod like this would do with these concepts.

Not picking on you or anything cuz I know you're just try to replicate Beta, but I just wanted to comment on that max temp there, since old temps were just crazy made up numbers that didn't make sense, but new temps are Kelvin, a max temp of 4000 struck me as crazy high, seeing as Iron boils, not melts boils, at 3134K, and even Tungstan melts and 3695K Them kerbals have some awesome material science. They should come teach us how to build fusion reactors.

Wanted to throw in my personal experience of running 8.1 and 10 Beta on my present machine (switching for testing purposes) and haven't found anything on modern hardware that needed updated drivers. (I have no run KSP on windows 10 though) But we're kinda expecting mid July at this point so not too bad of a wait. I've never quite understood your objection here, I've heard you say that it's unrealistic to be cutting thru or welding shut a bulkhead, which I completely agree with... But I've never seen the VAB as an actual vehicle assemble out of premade lego pieces. That's even more unrealistic, to me the VAB has to be analogous to a CAD program. Spacecraft are all custom affairs built to purpose from the ground up. So in my eyes if I grab a Karmony module, and leave it as is, I'm requesting the factory build a pressure bottle with 6 holes in it, but if I grab a karmony module, and cover 2 of the nodes with nodecovers I'm requesting the factory to build a pressure bottle with 4 holes in it, those other holes aren't being welded shut there were never holes to begin with. In my eyes, the "RP" of it is exactly the same if it's a part that you slap covers on, a part that you use right click to change the model of, or a series of 5 different part combinations that you pic the one you want, in universe the factory builds resulting configuration the same way. So in that light, what would be the objection to the right click method?

No, this is entirely the point, the blame doesn't go on to the testers no one is saying it does. They did their job. The blame doesn't go to the devs. They can't fix problems instantly.... But just by your example there it's quite obvious where the blame goes, where we've all been putting it, not since 1.0 was released, since 1.0 was ANNOUNCED! The blame goes on the person who decided to put a deadline on 1.0 must come out now, when the whole community was saying it's not ready do another beta.

Wow I missed it by seconds, rewatching it I see that I came in just after separation. And yeah that was more violent than I'd want to be in, however if that's just what happens in abort I'd rather have that happen than explode.
