My objection has nothing to do with the scan lines or the look of the new over the old, The old one was seperated into surface, ocean and atmosphere, and showed WHAT was in each place with the fancy pie chart. The new one just shows HOW MUCH of "generic resource" you have in any given location. That's a severe downgrade.

So, I don't think i've ever seen anything like this before
Moon Goddess replied to tychochallenge's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Ok, even with that.... Why did you not just post the screenshot that you emailed yourself.... but instead you went to the point of taking a screen shot of that email on computer and post that... I just seriously don't understand. -
What planet (or moon) do you have the worst time landing on?
Moon Goddess replied to Columbia's topic in KSP1 Discussion
For me it seems the hardest one to land on is GP2, I just can't seem to find it anywhere. -
Make Kerbal Stats Matter
Moon Goddess replied to tntristan12's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
OMG this so much, And I've got this real fear going on that in 1.0 if I try to name a Kerbal after myself I'm afraid she'll suddenly gender flip and change profession. -
I'm running Planetshine and Astonomer's Pack, it practically glows.
-
I just assumed the life support hasn't been implemented yet so unless you've got a mod just handwave it and assume they packed food....

Would I have bought the game without any astronauts for EVAs? No probably not. Do they have to be Kerbals, No, they were never a turn off, but weren't a selling factor for me. I personally feel the game, (No, really the community) takes the humor/explosions way too far for my taste now, but I do think that without some of the humor it would be too much like Orbiter and I wouldn't have bought it.

Anyone else have trouble downloading this... I've tried the combine package and the seperate packages. It starts downloading very slow but then just drops to 0kbps. My internet connection is fine, anyone have a mirror? -
Do ANY females/girl gamers play KSP?
Moon Goddess replied to sedativechunk's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Isn't it terrible when girls post with usernames that don't let you know their gender Yes, there aren't many of us, but we do play. I personally rarely visit the general discussion try to stay in the add-on forums. -
Ahhh reminds me of my early code in QBasic I was soooooo bad, I literally had code that was numbered things like 10 13 15 16 17 20 30 40 45 50 Easier to squeeze stuff in than renumber it all.

Please do not call 1.0 "Beyond Beta"
Moon Goddess replied to Whirligig Girl's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I can't see how it's ready for 1.0 Beta is the time where you test all the features... you don't finally get all the features you want ready and magically the beta is over without them being tested. -

See I hate names like that.... So um Reentry Mountains, what did they kerbals that lived there thousands of years before spaceflight call them? Did they somehow just know that was the spot to burn for a process they couldn't even imagine? Same with all these, the names had to have been there before spaceflight, why are they named after spaceflight?

How long you play KSP i mean the version
Moon Goddess replied to Pawelk198604's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I read the title and thought you were asking how much time do I play each version, the answer to that is a typical process of "Oh new version, I'm gonna do it right this time" Install, Install updated mods Play, install more mods as they get updated play install more mods Game starts crashing from out of memory stop playing KSP till next version comes out. The real answer to the question you wanted is. Right at the tail end of 0.17, but you might as well say 0.18 cuz it came out like 3 days later. -
I'm not demanding anything of the devs, if they stopped right now I'd still enjoy the game, maybe even more so since my mods wouldn't ever get broken again... But what I really would love to see from the devs is things that mods can't seem to do. Bringing Kerbalizer into the game, female kerbals, and putting the A in IVA so we can move around space stations. Other things I'd like to see stock like life support can be done by mods so I don't need those as much.
-
I keep waiting and waiting for Squad to put life support, and yet seems like every patch they throw up another roadblock, so I use mods... but now they're going to spawn kerbals in suits orbiting, I'll have 6 hours to rescue.... How on earth is a player who's not that great supposed to pull that off before they die? I wish they'd just put stock life support in the game and then think about it before they make decisions like this, and like "manned first because it doesn't use electricity" both of which will be destroyed when we get stock life support.

I imagined Soyuz to be less cramped, that's tight.
