  1. 1.4.5 Build a craft with a quad height KIS container and fill it with small parts. Stick it on the launch pad. Revert to VAB. Check the inventory, the bottom two rows of parts should be missing.
  2. Yep, I can recreate that bug. Unless we get it fixed I will disable resizing for the KIS Wedges (they start double height). I've checked and this won't effect any craft currently in flight.
  3. I'll take a look at this and see what I can see. Thanks for the report.
  4. Orbital Science is not currently compatible with Universal Storage 2. The next OS release will be.
  5. The file was set up to mimic the TAC LS Sabatier, but I agree it's not the best solution with Hydrogen being available in UvSii (It's not a resource in TAC LS). The next release will contain the same system as US1 but with processor rates to match the CO2 input of the TAC LS version.
  6. Very likely. There are some new fuel parts coming soon so we'll probably wait for them before adding RF integration.
  7. Universal Storage 2 will be very limited without MM installed, I haven't done any testing of the mod without ModuleManager (which is bundled with the download on SpaceDock). Looking at the log file, you have Universal Storage and Universal Storage 2 installed, which is fine. You also have DMagic Orbital Science installed, which is compatible with US but not with UvSii (yet, support is coming n the next Orbital Science update). I can't find any errors for either Universal Storage mod in the log file, so I don't think that is what is causing the problem. Useful tip: Load the log file in Notepad++, then use the Find function [ctrl]+[f], search for 'Universal Storage' and select find all in current document. It will give you every line containing 'Universal Storage' and you can view each line to see what the log output is. These mods are throwing errors in the log file. I don't know enough about them to say if the error is something to worry about, but based on what is being effected I think Interstellar Fuel Switch might be causing your issues. Fuel switch would need modue manager to change UvSii parts so that might be why you don't see the problem when you remove MM. InterstellarFuelSwitch USI Life Support Window Shine I haven't tested UvSii with Fuel Switch but I'll give it a go with just those 2 mods and see what happens. I have tested the mod with USI life support so you shouldn't have any issues there.
  8. You could also have a craft where the command module separates, rotates 108 degrees and docks with a service module, similar to how the Apollo CM docked with the LEM. I think they were mostly made passable because the model has a hole in the middle and it might be used as such. In other news, we're close to having the next content update released, it's currently undergoing testing. The new update will include some UI changes and new parts. Teaser images to follow.
  9. Sorry, I can't recreate that problem, I'm able to use the batteries as normal (Universal Storage II and Hyper edit are the only mods I'm running to test). I'm not sure what a charger is though, it doesn't sound like something in stock, which makes me think one of the other mods is changing the way batteries work.
  10. Can you give me more detail of the problem? I haven't found any issues with using the batteries to power things or charging the batteries with a fuel cell. Also if you are using any other mods please list them. I thought about that, and Universal Storage 1 took that approach. But I didn't want game mechanics to prevent choice of craft design, so as much as possible everything balances linearly. This applies to UvSII parts vs Stock parts, cost, mass and capacity are an exact match. It's also much easier to balance as there isn't any broken configuration. If you subscribe to the mod on Space Dock you will be notified (email) every time a new version is published. That's much easier for us to manage than having a separate step to keep AVC up to date.
  11. I type 'universal' in the search box which will give you all the US parts. In fact you can get away with just typing 'Univer'
  12. @Cooper42 Thanks for the report. Those are minor issue, they only add TAC / Kerbalism to the tags for the part. I've fixed them but I'll wait until we have more content before pushing out an update.

  14. Decimal point in the wrong place. Fixed and will release patch later today. Thanks for the report
  15. Yes! Should be ready soon. Wedges do weight different amounts, so this can be a problem. You can mount wedges symmetrically to avoid the problem, or use water wedges as weight to balance the craft. We don't have a CTT config at this time, so I'm not sure where their will appear. It's something I'd like to include though. Fixed, thank you I'll look into this tomorrow. Thanks for the report
  16. @scottadges That's super cool! You've given me an idea with that station, I'm not sure if it's possible but I'll talk to Dmagic about it.
  17. Awesome! Thank you. As it's not clear in the post above, Universal Storage is a team effort alongside @DMagic and @Daishi
  18. Universal Storage and Universal Storage 2 as the same mod? Everything has different names so I'm not sure how that could happen, but I'm not a CKAN expert. I'll look at creating a proper file so it knows what required mods to install.
  19. I believe it is on the to-do list. Thanks for the feedback on the website, I have fixed those issues.
  20. Updated both versions of the mod with a couple of fixes. Direct Download links Universal Storage II 1.4.5.3 for KSP 1.4.x Universal Storage II 1.3.1.3 for KSP 1.3.1
  21. For more information on each part, you can check out the part catalog at kingtiger.online/usvii
  22. Thanks to Scottadges we found and fixed a bug with the Water Purifier when running Kerbalism. The bug was caused by a single missing character! The bug will effect both versions of the mod so I have fixed and updated both. There is no localization file for this part when Kerbalism is running so it'll be in English only until we push out he next big update, but that might not be too long. Download at Space Dock Ensure you download the right version of your KSP install Direct download links Universal Storage 1.4.5.2 for KSP 1.4.x Universal Storage 1.3.1.2 for KSP 1.3.1
  23. Minor update for Universal Storage II for KSP 1.3.1 The wrong version of Module Manager was packaged with the mod which caused a crash at start up. This has been fixed, but if you've already sorted the problem yourself, you can ignore this update. EDIT: I have added direct links to the download version on the first post, to help avoid any confusion. IMPORTANT Make sure you download the correct version of the mod. Click on Change Log in SpaceDock to select which version.
  24. Universal Storage 2 is released! For more information check the forum thread
  25. I've added an FAQ to the first post with some of the questions that have come up. I'll continue to update is as as when...
