Well I hate to say it, but I have gone back to using Mechjeb 2 for everything except docking.. - when I tried to dock my tug onto my station it went crazier the closer I got to the station, by the time I tried to abort (I was hoping it would stabilize) it was too late, and I smashed into the station..

Yes, I have gone back to orda as well to do the docking, a) cause of the problems mentioned above of time standing still, and cause with orda I can use the "target" buttons to choose the right docking ports by switching between ships/station. (no offense to the mechjeb author, but the way it stands at the moment, the mechjeb whole docking thing is unusuable for me due to my lack of flying ability lol ) I think I may have also found something else, if you use the "auto staging" on ascent and do NOT turn it off after finished, when you goto use the landing option and hit spacebar once, it seems to do ALL remaining stages.. - I confirmed this by turning off auto staging after using ascent, and could use landing perfectly hitting spacebar when needed.. (this was on 2.0.6, not tried it yet on the latest but will and report back) Edit: since some have said docking now works I will give it another try

Well personally, I find this mod a GREAT help... it makes building things a lot easier as I don't have to worry so much now about wobbly rockets etc... Here is a pic to show what I mean This is a 50,000 litre tank with a JOOL V main engine

I use mechjeb all the time (currently trying out v2) - and it not cheating cause it teaches you a lot just by watching how it does things... Suggestions? - try making some parts and then joining them together in orbit around kerbin (hey presto you will have built a space station)

Methinks I stay away from the forums tomorrow, once the word gets out it is going to go ballistic around here, the mods and admins won't know which way to turn... Good luck guys, you gonna need it once the word gets out..

Yup, congratulations on getting us all back into one place again, a pity about post counts of people, but at least we are back and that's the main thing

Well I have been playing around with the utility called Partgen2.0 and this is my single stage rocket - as you can see it made it to orbit with fuel to spare LOL It is a 50,000 litre tank with a JOOL V main engine, and to get it off the ground I had to use 3x10,000 litre tanks with KW Rocketry Griffon XX engines on the side of it.
