Put your SD version on this morning, doesn't effect my machine one little bit performance wise and they look just as good as the hi-res ones, Brilliant work and thank you
-
I would say that is a list of mods he has installed on his system, all he has to do now is figure out which one is giving problems :0
-
Finally figured it out, I had downloaded v2.0 and not noticed there was now a v2.2 of the universe replacer out.. downloaded that and installed it and the cfg file has all the things in it that it should have Here is a nice little pic...
-
quick question for you two, are either of you running Kethane 0.75 as there is a problem with compatibility at the moment and the textures will not show up..,
-
Thats strange, here is what my original file has in it: Aliases { GalaxyTex_NegativeX = Textures/Skybox/Skybox_NegativeX GalaxyTex_NegativeY = Textures/Skybox/Skybox_NegativeY GalaxyTex_NegativeZ = Textures/Skybox/Skybox_NegativeZ GalaxyTex_PositiveX = Textures/Skybox/Skybox_PositiveX GalaxyTex_PositiveY = Textures/Skybox/Skybox_PositiveY GalaxyTex_PositiveZ = Textures/Skybox/Skybox_PositiveZ KerbinScaledSpace300 = Textures/Planets/Kerbin/Kerbin_Diffuse KerbinScaledSpace401 = Textures/Planets/Kerbin/Kerbin_Specular NewMunSurfaceMap00 = Textures/Moons/Minmus/Minmus_Diffuse NewMunSurfaceMap01 = Textures/Moons/Minmus/Minmus_Specular } and that is it, nothing else.. - Yet yours has a whole lot...
-
well in the GameData\UniverseReplacer\Plugins\PluginData\ UniverseReplacer\universereplacer.cfg I had to do the following to get the kerban clouds to show up: KerbinScaledSpace300 = Textures/Planets/Kerbin/Kerbin1 KerbinScaledSpace401 = Textures/Planets/Kerbin/Kerbin2 but I have no way of knowing what Laythe, Duna, eve and jool original files are called Does that make more sense now??
-
hehe yea, only to find another one.. - since the clouds are your mod, reckon you could tell me the original names of the planets etc so I can make up the alias file
-
Now I guess I gotsa to go into ksp files and try to find out the names squad have named the different planets etc so I can make aliases up for them
-
Sure I will take a look at it, but I will only be able to look at Kerban, as I have not yet been to any other place except for the Mun LOL
-
hehehe, well I only have got 12 pages in this thread (due to my forum settings) - but are you talking about this one?
-
I figured it out finally... There is a file in g:\Simulations\KSP_win-no-mods\GameData\UniverseReplacer\Plugins\PluginData\UniverseReplacer\ called universereplacer.cfg - it seems I had to alter the aliases in that to match what was in the mods pack.
-
I put the skybox and cloud pack archives into the Gamedata/universereplacer folder. Just to prove I got the files in the right place, here is another pic
-
If you mean the cloud pack yes I did - I have the following installed: Universe Replacer v2.2 Apatheticjester's Dreamscape Skybox mushroomman's Cloud Pack
-
ok, totally STOCK ksp, only put the Universe Replacer folder from my modded version in Note the height I'm at, and still no clouds Edit: I don't have to edit anything do I, only put the folders into universe replacer??
-
Maybe I wasn't being clear enough I have the following installed: Universe Replacer v2.2 Apatheticjester's Dreamscape Skybox mushroomman's Cloud Pack I put the skybox and cloud pack archives into the Gamedata/universereplacer folder but as I said above, even tho the skybox shows up the clouds don't.. Just to prove I got the files in the right place, here is another pic
-
Can be got from this thread - http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/44135-0-21-x-Universe-Replacer
-
Hmmm I must be doing something wrong, I can see the modified skybox, but even tho I "should" be high enuff, I cannot see the clouds around kerbin

That's true, I have browsed through the file that is created, and I sure would not want to have to do it all by hand -
[1.2] Procedural Fairings 3.20 (November 8)
Simplicity replied to e-dog's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Thanks for the reply, will do a compare between the old and the new, shouldn't take me too long to redo them -
Cloud Pack Download Many Many thanks for doing all this for us - just hope our PC's don't melt with the strain of rendering everything LOL

thanks for that - for those of us who make new cfg files to include decouplers, do we have to redo them cause of the update, or will the old cfg files we made still work -

That's a bit of a pain if you have things rearranged a lot - it's a pity there couldn't be some sort of a refresh button where it would refresh the listing without altering any order/combinations that you have already setup. -
I don't seem to be having any problems with roll, seems to work as advertised Only noticed a couple of "wierd' things, if I try to activate docking camera my frame rates slow to a slideshow, so have to leave it turned off, (could be the docking cam or universe replacer causing this so I not blaming mechjeb) I did find in docking tho, that it took three attempts before it lined up properly, the first two attempts for some reason mechjeb though the docking clamp was off to the side of where it actually was, lucky I noticed this, turned autodocking off, backed the ship up a little and turned docking back on again..

[0.21] Biodome 2 Alpha 6 Final release 03/09/13
Simplicity replied to Kayaking4autism's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I really like how you have got the ability of mining kethane - maybe you could look into other resources as well if you get bored Noticed you ran out of Power in the video, methinks I may have to put a couple of solar panels on the dome somewhere LOL
