  1. Yes I believe so. - - - Updated - - - Oops wrong post I replied to above. Sorry ugly. Yes this is what I believe sas does now. On my phone so can't double check right now.
  2. Different ways work for different people. Just don't go below 0m/s. Op said he had too many buttons to deal with hence this suggestion. Oh and this was changed in 1.0. Game switches to normal sas when velocity is ver low.
  3. Possibly try using the retrograde button (if you haven't) then all you need to do is control thrust and watch your surface speed m/s. Might help.
  4. Launch when your target craft is over kerbal India(brown land looks like India). It will vary with the thrust profile of your launch craft. A bit earlier for low thrust to weight and bit later for high thrust to weight launch craft.
  5. Moar boosters! Sorry had to be done. What a pickle you are in and my skills arnt up the to the job. Possibly post the save as a challenge and ask for a video of the resque. I would like to see it done and give it a go myself.
  6. Drop pod engines for deorbit. Or space debris maker when you detach drop pod prograde and light the flea retrograde into the launch ship. Yep did the latter before the former.
  7. The oberth effect difference between the top and bottom of the rocket may be contributing but doubt it. It would need to be a very tall rocket, I would guess for a visible difference.
  8. I have thought this for a long time that Kerbals should go splat when litho breaking too hard. Simple idea may not be simple thing to code, I have no clue just putting the suggestion oh there. Things that go splat are way more fun than things that go poof in silence. Mmm could flags possibly be converted into splat Kerbal remains?
  9. Lots of lights can cause lag I'm guessing that lots of engines that light up the surroundings would also cause lag. Probably one of the reasons the game is less laggy now.
  10. What the hell are these little green bars that keep popping up. I'm guessing this is what most people thought when the green progression bars for heat popped onto the screen. I'm sure there is a reason the dev chose green to represent overheating. Mmmm I'm puzzled. Coders why wouldn't the Dev responsible choose RED for this purpose?
  11. Right click on the buildings at the space center screen to upgrade them. Might need to set your mouse to have a right and left click. - - - Updated - - - Right click on the buildings at the space center screen to upgrade them. Might need to set your mouse to have a right and left click. Oh a little prob I had with my Mac. F5 for quicksave and F9 for quick load requires three keys. Control , Alt and the F(x). The wiki at the top of the forums has a lot of helpful info also. Enjoy and good luck on your first Mun landing.
  12. Oh thanks. Yep they do have function keys. I wasn't sure how to make the Mac F keys work. Three keys at once for an F key to work on my set up Ha ha. Must have pressed on one of them mistake when trying to open the debug for a look.
  13. Since 1.02 I have seen these little green progress bars over various parts. My guess is that that indicate heat or damage to parts. Playing on a Mac. Are these things a bug or are they trying to tell me something? Btw just noticed it in 1.02, it might have been the before.
  14. Saving of craft rotation. In game saves, when craft exit the phisics bubble and rotation maintained in time warp would be good too.
  15. Double layer the wings for the Mk3 parts. Or triple. It the workaround I've been using till 1.0 comes out.
  16. Can't see the picture. I don't know of a widely agreed definition of life. Are viruses alive, are they life. What about Prions or software viruses? I haven't read how to answer quotes properly in forums.
  17. Not trying to be a smarty pants but can you talk non-verbally? And I think signing is signing. Oh and some use, gods earth. Not me but each to their own so long as the message is understood.
  18. I have thought that life could be defined as reverse entropy. Also an interesting something I read once. At the current rate of human reproduction all matter in the universe will be people in 9,000,000,000 years. Also I think that stars fit into our current definition of life. It's a relatively wacky universe with relatively wacky ideas indeed. Great fun to think about though.
  19. Ok that would make sense. Thanks Vanamonde. Just makes me think how big the 1.0 release will be to balance everything.
