  1. Holy smokes, that means I haven't looked at Mun in well over a month. But I guess you're correct, I've thrown out mechJeb and replaced it by the latest update. Mun looks dull and gray again. Thanks for your quick reply and apologies for thinking it was your doing.
  2. Ever since I saw the geodesic grid on Skunky's KSPTV Kethane special I knew it would be another epic update. And it is. However I do have a small request; would it be possible to make the 'scanning beam' a bit wider. Currently it is always 1 grid wide independent of orbital altitude making a high, slow orbit very inefficient. A wider 'beam' could compensate this slightly. (Similar to ISAMapSat; high altitude = wide but low resolution, low = narrow but high res.)
  3. Checking if something is legit is so easy these days. Everybody has web access these days through PC's, tablets, smartphones and even through game consoles. As soon as you doubt something just do a quick Google search and you'll know.
  4. I recently saw Mermaids: The Body Found on Discovery Channel. At first it looked far-fetched but still pretty convincing, the longer I watched the more it started smelling 'fishy'. In the end credits it clearly stated it was all fiction and the 'scientist' where played by actors. You won't believe how many people are STILL convinced it to be real. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mermaids:_The_Body_Found http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1816585/
  5. Monitor support has nothing to do with this. Anaglyph 3D relies on color, not on polarization of frame swapping.
  6. Funny. I named this one Sparrowhawk. The long range atmospheric version is named Kestrel.
  7. Thanks. Another successful design. An old-school tail-dragger, but this one goes to orbit. Ready for take-off. 100 km circular orbit with 911 m/s dV left. I know, eclipses aren't rare. But they do look good.
  8. What landing gear is this? I've been looking for some bigger gear for a while.
  9. Pretty sure some collectors are willing to part with $40 for an undamaged copy of the first Simcity in original box.
  10. How do you land that beast? After my heavy cargo planes I started looking into light weight again. Mind if I steal copy some of your ideas?
  11. The goals for ITER are currently no to produce electricity. It is mainly a proof of concept. Only once it is proven sustainable fusion power is possible you can start thinking about siphoning off energy. At the moment they are getting closer and closer to making it work. Imagine what you can do with over a gigawatt that is currently lost as heat.
  12. Only 20 m/s? I'm pretty sure it can go a lot faster. What you got there is a classic infini-glider. You can get significantly more speed from the infamous infini-glide bug than you get from your thruster. I doubt you can run the ion engine at full power for any length of time. Still, it does look good.
  13. The one on the left is a crew shuttle, the one on the bottom right a 20+ ton cargo shuttle. Both are SSTO with fuel to spare.
  14. Wow, that's a big one. What do you call it, Lag Central Station?
  15. It is a very easy job to substitute with , changing images into links. If you do it that way the post your quoting retains all content but the entire page becomes much easier to read. (No idea why the forum doesn't do that automatically. It is possible, I see it on other fora all the time.)
  16. The CanadArm comes from Romfarer's Robotic Arms Pack The planes are stock, B9 and PWing The base is mainly Large Structural Components
  17. Reposting EXACTLY the same question you did about an hour ago won't ensures you an answer. The only real way to get a quick and satisfying answer is to post your question in the appropriate place. Something like the Support forum perhaps, not a screenshot thread.
  18. On the launch pad right click a part that's facing the correct way and select 'control from here'. Problem solved.
  19. wait a minute!what textures are that?are we even playing the same game?i can see kerbin in the distance and correct me if im wrong but...are those clouds?even the mun textures look kind of different.how did you do that? Please read his caption again. Think about it for a few seconds, then read it again. Now look at the palm of your hand and move it rapidly towards your face.
  20. I perfected my SSTO cargo plane (bottom right). It's guaranteed to get a 20 ton payload into LKO.
  21. On most atmospheric worlds jets are your friends. On Duna you won't really need them as it has low gravity and thin atmosphere. Eve is hard anyway you put it. The plane on the left is my most successful (and easiest) SSTO spaceplane thus far. It's capable to getting a pilot and 6 passengers to orbit and back with fuel to spare. The one on the bottom right is my SSTO cargo plane. Guaranteed to get a 20 ton payload into LKO.
  22. Impressive jumping. I wonder how high you can go without wiping out. B9 has bigger square panels. You probably can get away with reducing parts by making the ramp less smooth. Looking at your video you can also get away with making the ramp narrower, again significantly reducing parts.
  23. B9 wings are big because the stock wings are small. If you want small wings stock is your friend.
  24. There is more truth in this post than meets the eye. Don't know who said it but it reminds me of; The third world war will be fought with atom bombs, the fourth with spears and arrows.
