Has anybody gone round completely electric yet? I have a plane that in theory could do it but it would take an eternity. It struggles to reach 8000m and won't do much beyond 120 m/s.

Looks good. Question: where do you get all that electricity from? You've only got 4 large batteries and solar panels are retracted. I guess you get significantly more speed from the 'infini-glide' bug that you get from your ion engine.

No idea if this has been mentioned before (I have no desire to dig through all 11 pages) but there is something seriously wrong with one of the TriHex probe cores. Most likely it is a simple but still rather big error instead of a bug. The biggest of the two TriHex probe cores clearly states it is unmanned but it isn't, there are three Kerbals inside. Their portraits are not showing and you can't EVA/IVA them, but they are there. Only way to see them is either with a mod like CrewManifest or in the mission log after the part is destroyed.

Cupola comes from KSPX White Hab with illuminated windows and end plates come from B9 Trusses come from THSS The only thing I do not recognize is the radio dish on top of the structure.

Dedjal clearly stated he wanted to look at a continuously illuminated Kerbin. Picking a spot ahead/behind just outside Kerbin's SoI defeats the point as it would be so far away from the planet you can barely see it.

The fact we are so dull might be exactly what gave us an edge. We aren't particularly strong or fast, neither do we possess superior senses. Pretty much everything is average making us less dependable on any of them. If a predator gets injured and loses it's speed it will starve. A prey animal that relies on scent to detect predators can be outsmarted by staying downwind. Humans are all-rounders, adaptability is our superpower.

Another option is to replace the original miner/processor with one that includes a tiny fuel tank. Even the small orb tanks from KSPX are big enough. While the kethane is processed into this small tank transfer the fuel to the large storage module.
