  1. SiC. Get it? I seem to recall there being another mod that already uses Karborundum... Anyone remember what it is?
  2. What did the S2 Supersonic Cockpit end up looking like? In other news, I can't breathe.
  3. I would actually prefer for the gauges to be on the sides or underneath the main display. You want to be more or less straight ahead for ergonomic reasons, right? Are you using a front-mounted camera to do that, or are you integrating the camera into the nose cone/command module or what?
  4. Don't get me wrong, I love zzz's work, but I really wish that there was a little bit more range in terms of radial radiators in Interstellar. I haven't installed this version yet, but I've taken to modifying NF's radiators for Interstellar purposes.
  5. Wait. It's ラμ NOT /μ? Argh. Well that explains a lot (for example, why my physics marks weren't crash hot at the end of high school).
  6. BTW, I apologise for my dodgy formatting... Trust me, my literal back of napkin notes for this are far worse.
  7. G'day All. It's been a while since I did any interesting maths. So I think I've stuffed something. I'm trying to make a spreadsheet function to a (the semimajor axis) from T (orbital period in seconds, the input variable) and G (gravitational parameter). I'm certain that I'm calculating G correctly (because I've borrowed from the KSP Battery Calculator, which definitely gets it right. But otherwise, I think I'm stuffing it. I start with: T=2À(a3G)1/2 Then moving a out: T/2À=(a3G)1/2 (T/2À)2=a3G T2/4À2=a3G (T2/4À2)/G=a3 ((T2/4À2)/G)1/3=a I think all my maths is right there (although I could be wrong). This gives me a spreadsheet formula of =(((G8^2)/(4*(PI()^2)))/C6)^(1/3) ...where G8 is the time variable, and C6 is G. Where am I going wrong?
  8. An IVA ball turret (possibly with target tracking?) would be amazing, but have it set up so that you can attach any weapon to a mount/mounts on the outside rather than having a particular one. Actually I had plans to do roughly this with Infernal Robotics and the Cupola, but I'm not there yet in Career mode.
  9. Yeah, I had fixed up KSPAPIExtensions.dll, but there was a stray scale.dll in IR.. All good now. Thanks for your help mate.
  10. Is this good to go on x64? I'm not seeing it show up under the right click menu in the VAB. I've installed it properly (by moving the directory into Game Data). Installed the latest update for KSPAPIExtension. Any more info I can provide to help you help me help you help me help you help me?
  11. One of my students suggested something which gave me a bit of a laugh. I won't use it (still hanging out for ranks), but some people might get a kick out of it. Apprentice Chef Chef de Partie (or Pastry Chef?) Sous Chef Chef de Cuisine ...the suggestion was that every major mission should have someone in charge of providing freshly made snacks... I'll have descriptions in the next couple of days, hopefully.
  12. Also, tried to create a new kerbal through Ship Manifest.. Got this error: [Error]: [Applicants List Error]: Cannot Hire Geofwell Kerman as he is not an applicant ...I doubt that the problem is there, though.
  13. I don't seem to be able to create new kerbals using Ship Manifest... It brings up the new kerbal, but hitting "Apply" doesn't result in a new Kerbal. I'm getting this in my log: [Error]: [Applicants List Error]: Cannot Hire Geofwell Kerman as he is not an applicant I'm almost certain that the problem involves SM in some way (bug, conflict or 64-bit issue). I haven't been getting new applicants at the Astronaut Complex either, which I think is related. I've now tested without most of the rest of my mods, still no dice. If I could create Kerbals without SM, I'd test it vanilla, but...
  14. Just wondering. It's time someone else got a go other than Jeb, Bob and Bill.
  15. Can someone on the frontpage commit to keeping an eye out for updates and edit their posts accordingly?
  16. The Custom Ribbons are just given whenever you feel like them. You can rename or re-describe them however you like to suit your purposes.
  17. Can I have the assets that you've used there as separate images (the wings, especially)?
  18. As I said a page ago, I'm getting this behaviour without MFT installed. This can't be MFT's fault.
  19. I don't have MFT, and still have that error. Any clues?
  20. Could you do it by figuring out which part the command part is? So, if the command part is a spaceplane cockpit, then you give spaceplane achievements?
