    If the launch vehicle was a Saturn V (which people assumed was the rocket seen in the movie), we could estimate how big the spacecraft was. I could be very wrong though, as I've neglected to see the movie yet. Also, I would think that this thread would be stickied permanently by now

    Thats a Mercury-Redstone rocket (unsure what launch it is though). It took the first US astronauts into space. also the parachute - docking port combo and the zenit sounds really cool! The Fuji solar panel also looks nice.

    I was meaning it's position on the plaque, with its antenna pointed towards earth (as it was argued that aliens wouldn't know what the arrow was). However what you said is extremely interesting!

    The oldest game I've played was sonic the hedgehog 2 on the sega genesis. I don't have it any more, along with the console. Although I did recently discover a copy of predator for that console though.
