My concern about this being published as a book is the fact that it draws from other well known sci fi stories. There may be a way around this, perhaps the source materials could be acknowledged in the blurb/about paragraph.

I use Booster Bay to refer to the bay north of KSC, as it is, well, actually a bay. I named the islands this when I landed on them, as the names made sense: I call the crater island Krackentoa, but Rim island works too.

…Umm, bit of a necro? But.... I agree, this is how I interpret his character too. If you're not a daredevil, rockets are scary. Spaceships are mostly fuel tank- explosive fuel, and if the hull is breached you might die. Or get stuck far from home scary stuff. I could tell you exactly how I think the KSP came about. But that would be spoilers...

An epic last photo there. And that shot of Proteus all on its lonesome. It's an interesting perspective on chemical engines. I suppose it makes sense, given how crude it is compared to what they are used to. All things come to an end. I wonder if this will lead to a few less visits to the fanworks forum. Us other writers better lift our game. I had a dream involvving Proteus the other night. I was driving Evepod on Eve, through what looked like purple mangrove swamp soil, and crashed the Proteus, which was flying nearby. Except Proteus flipped, bent and bounced like rubber. Weird.

The end of something great! And what an end, it was beautiful. Nice to see inside the studio. Great use of colour in that last one, royal purple for Xactar, happy face yellow for Bill, and Bob's black like his camera man speach. Hopefully we'll still here from the kerbals of this sub-universe, as you had some good characters. And with Grand tour also nearly ending, time is almost right to begin my new series...

There's a starfighter I use a fair bit that's based on the X-wing, without the X wings. So it's more like the headhunter.

This is a nice looking base. A pity about the power module explosion. Could it have been an issue with the KAS pylon things? I've had trouble with them, yet others haven't. Sometimes if the game thinks something's COM is in the ground, it destroys that, which is why I tend to always use landing legs now. That's another potential culprit.

Please don't take these thoughts as marketing ideas. KSP is good the way it's currently going. Some of my friends have played KSP, we just hardly ever talk about it.

My first vessel to Moho was called Mojo. I almost lost my Mojo when I had an unplanned disassembly just after the lander reached orbit. Which was orbiting the opposite way to the return module. :facepalm: But, this being Moho, there was a window to send a rescue ship in just a few days. But, this being Moho, it needed a lot of delta V. I succeeded in getting Bob's crew home though.. and → I got my Mojo back. So maybe there's something about this planet, and plays on words.

I too could get behind some sort of official Squad publishing thing, or publishing deal. There are some stories on these forums that could be publishable.

Well done! That's a sturdy looking Eve lander. Though I'm wondering a few things: Why did you take the weight of the fairings all the way to Eve? Why not drop them during launch, or use them as a heat shield during Eve decent? Also, the other pod docked to the rescue ship come from?
