What no all of the above? I would colinize every where. Just likely to colonize the Mün and Minmus first as they will be good starting points for going else where.

Jeb along with Bill and Bob, plus a few others, are Heading to Duna thanks to a nice Gravity assist sling Shot: All this was done to complete 2 contracts. One of which was a Minmus. Which helped fund the other part of the ship to help push them to Duna.

Pretty much have a small fleet of ships heading to Duna do to nice window found out by accident. This is the latest one that is going to use the Minmus drop down to Kerbin trick to Save some delta V's. Well it was not fully fueld. But, I want to to try it out since I knew I had a Duna window: Should have taken a picture of the craft. But, don't feel like it. It is a 2 part ship one of which was used to do a station contract for Minmus and Mün.

YEs. An enjoyable little strip.

Well. One of my sats that was on the way to Duna. Met the Kracken. Needless to say it went into warp speed. What was left anyways. But, what I failed to notice was. That it also took out anything with a stable orbit that was not transiting from one SOI to another. And every time I went to it. It wiped out all ships that have an orbit with again sparing any going from one SOI to another....

If KSP 1.0 has resources will that lower your costs in career mode?
Aragosnat replied to Valley's topic in KSP1 Discussion
It should save me time hualing fuel to places Like Duna and such. As I would not need to refuel the ship in Kerbin Orbit then hope it has enough fuel to then transfer to the ship that needs it to return with. While initially it will likely be costy to set up. But, in the long run. It should save a bunch. -
What is your creative process like when you have an idea in KSP?
Aragosnat replied to Little Katie's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Depends on the fun level. If building for myself. I finish contracts before starting as I build costly things. But, for contracts. I build what is needed and then some as I try to make sure the craft can do multiple ones to be extra efficent. Maybe. But, it is mostly try and fail or succeed. Mostly fail unless using old working sort of design. -
Need a rule of thumb to eyeball my gravity turn

And remember to have fun.... -
Installed latest version of Dwarf Fortress while I wait and think of what I should try next before KSP 1.0 hits.

Landed on Minus using a SSTO space plane and then took off after planting a flag.:

Do you think Sandbox Mode can still be rewarding?
Aragosnat replied to Draconiator's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Play in science mode where you just collect science points and still have sand box elements. -
What is Kerbal Space Program in your perspective?
Aragosnat replied to Columbia's topic in KSP1 Discussion
For me this sums the above votes "A game where you manage a space agency." Which for me means all of the above. -
Do you think Sandbox Mode can still be rewarding?
Aragosnat replied to Draconiator's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Yeah. Sandbox is a bit unrewarding for myself. In that the restrictions that Career mode forces upon me to design better crafts. While sanbox can do that. I still think I would be building x-mass trees just to get up into space if I was playing in sandbox still. Also it will be likely that I'll be using sandbox at least a few time to try out KSP 1.0. Since all the new features will make what I do reasonably obsolite. -
More or less stable unless one is trying to find the Kracken. And other known bugs like Don't try to go beyond the Sun SOI and if you descover the Kracken Drive. Just terminate it as it is know to wipe out anythng with astable orbit around Kerbin and It's moon. With the exeption of craft doing a transfer to another SOI.

Played KSP for a bit. Then went on to RSI chat and ount out Mr. Nimoy (A.K.A. Spock) passed away. Now I'm bummed out. Amazing to think how much affect someone you never met can have on you.

Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Jebidiah. Its 5-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no Kerbal/Kerman has gone before.
-
Also you don't need more then 1 wheel either. 2 works fine as you can see:
-
Walking cannot get you goo science from every new biome. Excpecially if you add the science lab to clean the science parts. Collected all my Mun science just using 2 rovers. Would have been just one if I went slower on my first one. Also is a pain to move 1 Kerbal at a time.

How far do you need to explore to max out science in a career game?
Aragosnat replied to John FX's topic in KSP1 Discussion
In carrer with science in contracts. Just need to stay within Kerbins atmosphere. Sure one can go out and hit other planets and get a lot of science that way. But, all the science you need is right within Kerbin SOI. Pretty much doing all of Mün and some of Minmus will net you all the science points you will ever need right now. Suggestion: If you want to start over. Do so with the mod that removes science from contracts and reduce severlly the science gained... Otherwise the only reason to go out to other places is to read the funny text they have associated with the science tests. -
How many people fail to catch the squadcasts?
Aragosnat replied to John FX's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Don't remember they do such. Second my net is not that great. What I can afford and is available. -
Why des adding "K" to a word make it Kerbal?
Aragosnat replied to FishInferno's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Yes.. Kommunity and Komrad are much better with it. Yeah. It does gets tiring to think of K names. -
Yes there be some old such-n-suchs around. Yeah. We are likely going though waves of new people with some dropping off and waiting till KSP is 1.0 ...
-
You should talk to Wook. He did a round trip around Kerbin with several diffrent rovers and boats.
-
I agree with the humorus part. They certainly did add to the value. But, I primarilly bought it because t was a game where I could build a rocket and try and get it to space then the Mün.Watching someone stream it helped. Playing teh demo helped convince me to buy it too. That is more then 4 if you count the dashes.
