  1. Could you make 2 parts? One with docking guides and one without? I personally don't like CBM's with docking guides. They are more of a hindrance than helpful. With several docking maneuver helper plugins being available guides aren't really needed, IMO.
  2. LLL is using the Vanguard plugin to allow you to place doors anywhere you like. You have to use the LLL dors and airlock parts though attached to a LLL crew capable part. This then allows you to EVA any kerbals inside those parts and have them re-enter. Vanguard Plugin
  3. What if you made it so that creating the maps doesn't generate science directly (or a smallish amount) but are prerequisites for other other science. For example you need to have at least 80% of a slope map complete before Kerbin scientist would have enough data to identify impact craters on Kerbin.
  4. I'm not entirely sure it has anything to do with your parts. I've seen other reports on the forums of weird physics behaviors with conjecture that .22 borked something.
  5. My large refueling station that was rock solid in .21 is unusable now. As soon as the vessel loads it starts flapping like a wet noodle. All station modules / parts are utilizing SDHI berthing ports except the connection between the fuel bladders which are using Clampotron Sr.
  6. I'd say just make a clean cut-over. Eventually KSP evolution will force another save file restart on everyone and it won't matter.

  8. The one part thats missing from this set is an RCS thruster block done in the LLL style. It looks a bit odd to me to have these sleek LLL spacecraft with conventional RCS blocks interupting the smooth lines.
  9. Chatterrer is partless - its always active. Energy consumption is an option and can be turned off.
  10. It already has this. Change the number in the box to the right of the control buttons. Bigger numbers make the part go faster, smaller numbers make it go slower.
  11. This mod is broken for me in .22. Filtering isn't working, and config page comes up blank.
  12. I just completed my first flight in .22 career mode and can't figure out how to end the flight without reverting. How do you successfully end a flight?
  13. This has been discussed before and I believe the consensus was that it's a problem with Unity and there wasn't much, if anything, that could be done about it.

  15. Sounds like you might need to re-install the MSI IR mod. I would delete the Gamedata\Magic Smoke Industries folder and re-install from scratch. I know the hydraulic cylinders are working as I was building a vessel using them last night.
  16. Can you post a pic showing your ship? This might help us figure out what is going on.
  17. Why are you asking about stock parts not working in this thread? To answer your question, sometimes the clamp-o-trons just don't work. I've had the situation you are experiencing and also have had docking ports that won't disconnect from each other.
  18. Good idea. I can see this creating some huge files though. Is there a way to toggle the log file creation on and off? A future feature would be a way to insert "checkpoints" into the log file to quickly locate events.
  19. There's no way to build a circular construct in the VAB and have all end points connected. This is a limitation of the game and how it builds the hierarchy of the vessel's parts. There is the ability to use what is being called "welds" to build a circular part outside of the VAB. BTW - This mod appears dead. The creator hasn't been active in a long long time so I wouldn't get my hopes up on IVA's.
  20. Really? How much RAM could this part take? At most 3 MB, which you'd be hard pressed to be able to identify the usage of in KSP anyhow.
  21. Beautiful looking part. It a shame all that detail will only be seen in the VAB / SPH (or if theres a terrible disaster)
