I use the Ram part in TT Multiwheels for raising/lowering.

At this point I've only EVA'ed once from one of your modules. I was transferring a Kerbal from a station i'm in the process of assembling to his return ride. It was a flat ended module, service I believe, with a 2.5m IACBM. I definitely did not switch IACBM modes while performing the EVA. I'll attempt to recreate the situation on my next visit to the station.

sorry...wasn't asking if you would do it. Just wondering if it would be possible. Maybe my first modding project. -
TT's Mod Releases - Development suspended till further notice
Gristle replied to TouhouTorpedo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yesterday I saw an old fire truck up on blocks with its wheels removed. This got me thinking, would it be possible to create a part that was just the wheel hub / axle and be able to attach rim/tire parts of various sizes and styles to this one wheel hub? -
Voted other. Worst mission was when i lost 6 kerbals to a mysterious creature while they were just walking across open ground. This happened on the largish island about 100km e.Ne of KSC.

[WIP] THSS - Tri-Hexagonal Structural Strut
Gristle replied to Semni's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Parts like this can only initially attach on 2 sides. There are 2 almost identical THSS-033-H parts. The one you want is the THSS-033-H as this had the initial attach points on a tri-hex-strut side. The one you have int he pisture is hte THSS-033-H Tipped part that has the initial attach nodes on the circular sections.edit: Ninjaed -
Are any of the standalone Lazor mods (Robotic Arms, Lazor and Docking Cam, etc.) affected by the "system would become unresponsive outside Kerbin's SOI" bug? Can I just replace the Romfarer.dll to update those mods?

[0.90] Magic Smoke Industries Infernal Robotics - 0.19.3
Gristle replied to sirkut's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
What if you left one of the "block" ends off the truss? That way when you connect 2 together you don't have a huge 2x sized block at the junction. If you wanted to have the extra connect nodes at the cutoff end you could put the cube on it. -
[0.90] Magic Smoke Industries Infernal Robotics - 0.19.3
Gristle replied to sirkut's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Don't let this take away from anything more related to IR. The trusses were an odd part to be included in the original DR as they really serve no function that can't be replicated by stock parts and had no "automation" features. A reskin would be nice for the DR trusses though. -

Yes, more trusses would be plusses. -

I use these quite often. Different attach mechanics than the stock ones, plus they look beefier. -

@MSI Crew: Do you think its possible to make gears? I've played a little bit with this using docking washers and girders to make some really coarse gears ad it seemed to work ok. -
[0.25] Lionhead Aerospace Inc. - Icarus v0.4 updated
Gristle replied to Yogui87's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
FYI - The Infernal Robotics DLL works fine with these parts. -
Was playing with the Lionhead DSL Pandora arm earlier. I really like how this looks and works. Seems like it might be a good fit for the KSO. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/12106-0-21-x-Lionhead-Aerospace-Inc-Thor-probe-updated-%21%21%21
