[0.90] Kerbin Shuttle Orbiter System v4.13
LawnDartLeo replied to helldiver's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
What is the memory foot print of 4.081 with ATM running? I have installed as instructed and I get sent over the top with installation of the latest full pack....ONLY! Should we be using the kso.cfg from ATM or the one packaged with KSO 4.081? -

Granted, but now Spam is mandatory for every meal. I wish my car had hypergolic thrusters for easier parallel parking. -

Self contained? Limited? I've always thought that the KSOS and its related components meshed quite well with other parts. Sure it only hauls up a limited size range but all the rest I've just put into LKO by other means. -

granted, but from this point forward will receive summary judgement and punishment up to and including vaporization. I wish I had an element named after me. -

The MCP grants your wish but after your shift you are to report to the light cycle arena. I wish for excessive ear hair. -

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Woops... not blasphemy... sorry dude. Seemed appropriate for Easter. I wish for one dozen Cadbury Creme Eggs. -
What should we call a Kerbin Day and a Kerbin Year?
LawnDartLeo replied to Superfluous J's topic in KSP1 Discussion
.... bravo for sliding that one in under the censors noses. -
Yes 1. Do you use your cell phone daily? 2 2. How many times do you check your cell phone each day? Motorola 3. What kind of cell phone do you own? 4PM 4. Generally speaking, what time of the day do you most often use your cell phone? Agree 5. Choose an answer: “I require my cell phone for everyday use.â€Â

Sleep as little as 2 hours a day and be completely awake and healthy!

iDan in 3 weeks..... -
NOOB ALERT!!! 1) Is there any limitation that would prevent a combination fueltank/engine part? 2) Even is there is not, is this just a bad idea to begin with?... not like I have seen many like this before (ARM might be first). 3) If for the sake of design I want my part to have 8 sides, does my mesh model still need to conform with a 12 sided collider?

[0.90] Kerbin Shuttle Orbiter System v4.13
LawnDartLeo replied to helldiver's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
About "smart parts"..... I have the Drainex set to stage and attached to one of the LFO boosters. It never kicks. The booster tanks are bone dry. Am I misapplying it in some way? Anyone use this part successfully on the KSO? I want to use KOS to make programmed launches but I need this part to work properly to make my program run as it should. -
Were there a mod that would let me accurately burn (an input window that would let punch in burn parameters), I might surrender it. KOS is almost that kind of mod but it doesn't behave well with the mods I use under all circumstances.

You travel at the speed of light, read Atlas Shrugged from start to finish and discover 4000 years have passed back on earth. I wish I could polka. -
[0.90] Kerbin Shuttle Orbiter System v4.13
LawnDartLeo replied to helldiver's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Kiwi.... read my post man!!! I clearly stated the use of that and other relevant mods to make a Kanada arm. What we need are some parts that fit the picture a bit better with respect to the KSOS. In the end, I think people will be disappointed by the instability of manipulators. This is not a short coming of any of the above mods but of the game, itself. -
[0.90] Kerbin Shuttle Orbiter System v4.13
LawnDartLeo replied to helldiver's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Ill second this but with a bit more input that might make it an easier proposition (... says the guy not doing the modelling and implementation). There is a mod for KSP (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/37680-DROMOMAN-modular-arm-parts-for-Damned-Infernal-Robotics) that already provides for arms, problem is it doesn't have components that make for a really good Kanada arm for the KSO shuttle. I've used it and the Kerbal attachment system (http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/0-18-2-kas-kerbal-attachment-system-v0-1/) and Infernal Robotics (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/37707-0-23-Techtree-Magic-Smoke-Industries-Parts-Infernal-Robotics-0-12-(1-30-2014)) to make arms but they end up being very large and gangly. The "guts" are there, appropriately scaled parts seem to be all that is really needed. This in no way is meant to detract from the above mentioned mods, they are great and I recommend them without reservation. -
Warp bubbles within warp bubbles within warp bubbles.
LawnDartLeo replied to FREEFALL1984's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Is it a bubble or a wave? My understanding is that warp travel is more like cosmic surfing, a ripple in space where you surf down the wave with a trough in front (pull) and a peak behind (push). -

Way to encourage further development, Tangle. I've got issues too but I'm not trashing the authors and their efforts. I've found the RW's to be quite capable so far. -

I posted this a while back.... Correction.... keep the OMS's off. The 200's albeit less efficient play better with MJ. Seriously, I have little issue with MJ.
