  1. I am a newcomer to texturing, and I have a question. I did a smart UV unwrap, and then edited the picture in photoshop. Applied in blender, it looks like this: Very simple. However, in KSP, it looks like this: Clearly, the textures do not match up. What am I doing wrong?
  2. Not promising anything, but IF I have time this weekend (i get tomorrow off) I may be able to model at least some engines for the Skylon. Would you be interested?
  3. I was half-joking anyway. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  4. Awesome work. Very well made Only one problem. There would be no sunset on mercury.
  5. I could be completely wrong, but I believe it is a 'texture' of sorts that allows additional detail without adding polygons. It\'s similar to bump-mapping.
  6. Awesome! This should be fun! I wonder if this could be implemented in plugin form... Hmm...
  7. Looks good to me. Still a tad bland, I think; it lacks a bit of character, but who am I to judge?
  8. For some reason, I, too am unable to see the turboprop.
  9. I found this tutorial for something of the sort. The kicker, though, is the example planet. Look familiar? I\'m positive someone has found this before, but its interesting nonetheless.
  10. Hence the challenge =P It may not be possible at all. The only way I could possibly see it happen is to hit the atmosphere at hypersonic speeds, though that might just tear the ship apart
  11. The challenge is simple. Slam into the ground (on Kerbin) as fast as you possibly can. Anything over 250 m/s is a huge feat. Not even sure if it\'s possible to go much higher
  12. I\'m not sure where this map came from, but Kerbin never looked like that. The water was always way brighter, and the land was a much brighter green. I think it was 0.10 that changed the terrain, removed the palm trees, and added areas that weren\'t green. Prior to that, everything was a bright green--nowhere near that dark, and there were no whitecaps.
  13. It\'s not entirely realistic. It\'s not orbiter; it has its own kooky flavour. I\'m glad the planets are smaller-sized, to be honest.
  14. Yeah... 60 m/s is kinda fast. Definitely don\'t try to move it at that speed
  15. How fast are your rovers going?
  16. So the crater with the monolith is now 'Silisko Crater,' eh? Awesome. I\'m sending another probe to SMA-01 (Silisko Magnetic Anomaly 01)to study it.
  17. My sense of humor was injured, got infected and had to be amputated after a tragic car accident But all joking aside, Earth is 11 times kerbin\'s diameter, and immensely less dense.
  18. Intergalactic missions would take millions of years (not counting time dilation, which would reduce it, assuming a constant 1g acceleration, to ~50 years) Is it supposed to be Earth?
  19. As did I. I landed rovers in three 'candidate' craters. I actually was about to give up on the one that the monolith was in. Luckily I didn\'t.
  20. Multijoint Part Plugin (0.14+) http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=9017.0
  21. Landed the research probe on RCS alone after both parachutes and engines malfunctioned
  22. Welcome to the forums! With respect to Easter eggs, do you have a specific link to where he said this? I know they gave their 'plausible denial' of any such things, meaning that there probably are some, but the Ice Caps are pretty devoid of anything.
