  1. I am sharpening my pitchfork as a write this. Joking aside, the promise was made, and factored heavily into my decision making to buy at the time. @SQUAD care to comment?
  2. Yup, I'm very glad I bought before that date and will get my promised, free DLCs forever.
  3. I love Duna/Ike screenshots Taken from the perspective of Ike, as seen in the credits scene of my Curiosity rover video. I wish we had the old look of Duna back though.. And that the ice caps where a little smaller. Other than that, it's always a lovely view in the Duna system. Keep it up mate!
  4. Absolutely stunning work! It is so smooth! You guys are showing that thermo hinges are the most versatile mechanism in KSP by a LONG way! You make me so proud! *Sheds a tear of joy Oh, and this deserves its own thread!!
  5. I will have a look when 1.3 drops matey. It's a massive loss that @sgt_flyer isn't posting anymore.. :-(
  6. You should make an American or German tank ammnd make a combat video with them! It's a nice build mate, good work!
  7. LOL, that's so epic! Masterful use of thermometer hinges @klond!! Do the paddles actually move the thing?
  8. This needs to be worked on again! The craft involved are a masterclass in good, skilful KSP building.
  9. As discovered by a few others, using the small round RCS blocks instead of the antennas works better for high stress applications such as powered props. Give that a go.
  10. Well, the smallest possible bearing/hinge is my thermometer design. All small hinges you see are based on my original design. Having said that, looking at the craft you posted I think you want something a little bigger.
  11. It looks good but you didn't include a download link.
  12. Ouch.. I feel you pain. Just redo them matey. One needs a stout work ethic when making these sorts of things. Deep breath and carry on. :-) Looks great so far!
  13. Well, when you DO want something small to spin, you will want to put antennas in holes.
  14. This is awesome looking! I love the asthetic of the jeep especially. Great work matey and you are a real gent mentioning me. ;-)
  15. Well, it looks amazing so far mate! And don't worry, most vehicles have some kind I ballast to balance things out, I know I had to, just one of those things when making accurate detailed craft like this. :-)
  16. It looks great mate! It need a little cleaning up and it looks like there's no room for a rover and science stuff, or? I know apollo 11 didn't have a rover but it's nice to have one. :-) have you tested the ascent stage? I found that the COM/COL indicators where inaccurate when making mine.. It took a while to balance it, as I also didn't use reaction wheels. I love the extending landing legs!
  17. No need for hinges in the faring matey, they detach in all but the earliest Apollo flights. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. Both @sgt_flyer and myself have made stock Canadarms, independently I should add, although his was much better than mine, you really should check it out. It's a work of art! See the vids on his youtube page.
  18. Every builder worth his salt should have one of these in his collection. You have done a great job on this often tricky build, I commend you! Keep up the good work! Oh and albums cannot be displayed due to a bug with imgur or the forum or both. I forget, so your pics are perfect. :-)
  19. Well... That depends on the payload fairing. if you want a nice custom one that opens like the real thing, that's tricky. ;-)
  20. It really doesn't does it! I spent a very long time making and balancing my Tiny stock LM. I like what I see of yours so far mate, nice work! keep it up and keep us posted on the progress, Man.. all these apollo craft are making want to fly a SV again!
