    I landed a 2000 ton E class on Minmus a few days after .23.5 came out, and it was in the wrong place (few Km off from a base). It is still in the wrong place.

    Once I thought a saw a mountain on Dres. So I landed there... Instead of a mountain I got a flat, barren wasteland.

    Plot Twist: Squad has been purposely hinting toward the wrong feature to mess with us, it's not destructible buildings. I don't know, maybe it is destructible builds.

    Not that i know of... Only way would be to launch the Kerbals in a pod before the real launch.

    You can probably get an encounter once you get closer. Gilly's SOI is REALLY tiny, and the orbital speed is like 20 m/s or less.

    I've been playing since 1.8... Beta. I am a bit saddened by this news. All I can hope is that Microsoft doesn't do anything too bad to the game. It's kinda a good think that it's Mojang being purchased and not just the game, so MC should still have the same devs, right?

    Jet engines work in space (And on Eve, Duna, etc) if you close air intakes while they are full. Then when you go into space the air will be stored as fuel rather than "leaking out," and can be consumed by the engine to get a few hundred m/s of delta-v.

    OP is talking about the landing gear brakes, yea, they take about 5 hours to shut off. I have found that taking them off the ground can sometimes immediately release, for example if you mash the awsdqe keys on a plane.
