  1. That's... The best idea ever! Yea, 99% of the time those things should be in the first stage.
  2. SteamDB scratchpad builds are updating! Hotfix hype!!!!!!!
  3. Some random .24 shenanigans: TOO MANY BOOSTERS... JEEEBBBBBB!!!!! It's working! To the Mun! How many times must I tell you Jeb, you're not Superkerbal! Jeb, I said safety first! Time to go test that landing gear! And only two Kerbals where killed in the making of this aircraft! Including Jeb... Also, happy 1,500,000 views Show of your awesome KSP pictures thread! And we're within 100 pages of 1000!
  4. Indeed, going to eve from pretty much anyways shouldn't produce such a gravity assist... Pictures would be nice
  5. I just don't like steam, so the store is for me.
  6. Yea, I thought those "test part" contacts where easy, but it seems like the altitudes and speeds have nothing to do with eachother... To be honest, I think its easier if you use a plane, since those have more control.
  7. Indeed, and it was like that until like .17 or something.
  8. I'm pretty sure that it was said in a squadcast or something that that was how it was going to be... I guess they changed their mind.
  9. I'm pretty sure Nova kinda confirmed that it was probably lost in a accident, after all, there's no reason to remove it on purpose. What I don't get is why it has not been re-added. That rock was Legendary...
  10. Ah, ok, its nice to have a patch build instead of waiting for the next update. The last patch was .21.1 right? Wow, an entire year ago. I hope those claw bugs finally get fixed, those things summon the Kraken far too much...
  11. I just made my first mistake in my .24 career (its hardcore, no revert/quickload) Jeb was supposed to land on the Mun, instead, when the last pair of SRBs decoupled, well, lets just say it was not a clean separation. Then the remaining part of the destroyed core stage awkwardly continued pushing the upper stage, giving Jeb at least a sub orbital trip. I actually did complete one contract, which was to test the 909 in the atmosphere, but that wasn't enough to pay for the 40000 Fund rocket.
  12. Are they working on .24.1 or .25? After all, a few things for .25 have been started being worked on a few weeks ago according to the devnotes (IVAs, plane parts)
  13. The main thing I want changed is the contract deadline... While over 100 days to reach orbit may seem kind of ok for real life, Kerbals can literally build their rockets instantaneously (time stops while in the editor). So the entire progress of research and development and even building the rocket and flying it actually takes around 15 minutes if your just going to orbit. And while getting to the Moon took us humans a few years, Kerbals can reach the Mun in about 12 hours. So basically, deadlines need to be wayyyyyyy shorter to have any kind of effect on gameplay. The only way I'll ever miss one is if I fall asleep on the time warp button. For example, testing a landing gear on the Mun should have a deadline of maybe 5 days, not 5 years. Then there will be an incentive to get it done sooner rather then later, as right now you can just queue up all the contracts in mission control without any worry of not finishing them in time.
  14. *sigh* That has been there since .22, crew reports have nothing to do with anything....Please, actually get a picture of this boulder before you say it's back. I miss the Magic Boulder;.;
  15. Ahh, the randomized contracts... I think it IS possible, just need to exploit some bugs...
  16. *various construction sounds are heard while an unseen band plays Kevin Macleod music* For anyone wondering what the scaffolding is for: I ran out of Funds and had to sell the SPH's Antigravity-Construction-Machine
  17. Annnnnnnnd I'm BACKKKKKK Oh, wait... UPDATE .24????!!!!!! I'm gone for one week and look what happens... Anyways, I can explain. I missed the hype train when it departed because of bad traffic while getting to the train station... I was chasing it alongside on a road for most of the way, trying to catch it. But then the Kraken Hyper-Drive kicked in... My ears are still ringing from the sonic boom. So here I am, five days late, arriving at the hype train station 0.24. Anyways, I'm downloading it now. I have not bothered to watch any videos or anything, so all I know about .24 is things from the live streams, dev notes, and articles... So I'll just have to wing it with that new career mode thingy. Anyways, finally, Squad has added the long promised career mode, and not just some science, but an actual game when you need to keep track of and manage your space program! (and 64 bit at the same time!) And today is 4 days from the anniversary of when I first downloaded KSP (0.16). It only took not-even-2-years! Thank you devs, as always you're awesome!
  18. I'll probably work on a new shuttle once .24 is out.... (my other one is old and could be a lot better)
  19. Attach fuel tanks and engines to it, then fly it too mars.
  20. Same here... So many people want things like career mode, resources, more parts... But aerodynamics would be the best update ever for me. Though, apparently the plane parts are being reworked, which hints toward a airplane themed .25...
  21. The prices at the moment are practically random and make no sense. Of course .24 will change it.
  22. I agree, increasing the hype with videos and streams several days before the release caused a bit a chaos... I like this way much better, just sitting patiently and mashing F5 until something happens.
