  1. I tried to shove it with an SSTO, It was not very effective (as in, the roid had NO visible movement). You know what, I should put that thread in my sig, so everyone can help... ON TOPIC: Anyways, so It looks like the "surprise" wasn't a .24 thing. But apparently, it was said in a squadcast that the plane parts are getting redone. FINALLY
  2. I think that aerodynamics really should be right after career (like .25). It's definitely an important core feature. Ask any person at NASA or something and ask them "How important are aerodynamics when designing a rocket?" Probably pretty important.
  3. Dude, it's been announced for over a month now, and has been down for 13 days. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/content/276-Kerbal-Space-Program-Teams-Up-With-Curse
  4. It's still there, Kerbals will only sometimes land and be fine. Unless your Danny2462 of course.
  5. So I just thought of a really cool use for these things, I'm testing it now and it seems to work without a hitch. Here's a hint:
  6. Only issue is that they're physicsless parts... and a decoupler. I think the devs should have learned from the ARM Pack decoupler that physicsless decouplers summon the kraken. For example, if I try to decouple one in space, most of the time it will just suddenly lose all velocity. Thankfully I can fix that myself. Otherwise it's an awesome mod.
  7. Err, except that the very few parts that do have a different coefficient have very little mass, so they make no difference.
  8. Exactly, some say that FAR is hard, but at least you can just do some research on Google and find out how planes fly. But with the current aerodynamics, it's anybody's guess. No offense to anyone, but the tutorials on the forums are no help at all, as this system is just to unpredictable (the tutorials really only work with very simple crafts).
  9. If you take a fighter jet into a full power dive it will... slow down... In the .24 Update Update 2, Harvester talked about how the expected quality of new features is a bit higher now because the game is closer to being finished (or something like that). Meanwhile, the aerodynamics system has been around since the FIRST update and has never been even been touched at all since then. It was fine before, but now it's just ridiculous.
  10. A picture would really help. If it's blocked then I'm pretty sure that no save file editing will fix it.
  11. I hope the vernier engines will help with moving huge asteroids... Because I STILL have an E class on Minmus that needs to be moving a few Km to a base.
  12. Only way I've been able to destroy one was slamming it into the ocean. Ramming a missile into it (the same one, before it crashed) at 800 m/s didn't do anything but bump it.
  13. What mods are installed? Anything that could "break" the claw? EDIT: Wait a minute! It has the "release" option, which means it probably thinks its clawed to something. Try clicking that. And if that doesn't work, did you try turning it off and on again?
  14. I have a bad felling about that little probe... It looks evil.
  15. One word: LAAAGGGG Seriously, even minecraft starts to die if a sever has more than 1000 people on. And those server actually are run on MANY servers. One server itself will die with only 100, and on KSP it will be die way faster.
  16. Yea, I wish there was a way to have a different default hull flag than the other flags...
  17. I have my own solution to this: Make a rule describing when you can and can not quicksave.
  18. I'd say better aerodynamics defiantly! I mean come on, we're still on the aerodynamics model from the first public version of the game! EDIT: Oh, and here's a bit of a rant from a while ago:
  19. Isn't Buzz the kerbal that Zisteau brought to Eve? and did not return
  20. So I have these two comm sats in Laythe orbit, everyone once and a while I check on them. The view never ceases to amaze me.
