  1. I'd uninstall it and immediately burn the hard drive it was installed on.
  2. Yes I wish they could make it utilize resources better. I run a 64 bit system on 16GB ram, two 2GB GPU's and a i-7 OC at 5ghz and I still lag but I can play FSX with 100's of mods and pull 60 fps lmao...lol its comical sometimes...but so frustrating...
  3. Omfg that ASAS video...I want it...I want it now!!!
  4. Put my RemoteTech communications system back into service on a fresh save followed by the ISA/Kethane mapping of Kerbin.
  5. All satellites IRL and in KSP will drift over time, they just need boosted/repositioned. For your stationary orbits try to aim for 0 m/s ground speed and they will take years to drift together. Once your at the corrct height you still need to fine tune your orbit for 0 m/s ground speed.
  6. There is really no need for communications satellites outside Kerbin's SOI if you ask me. Using the largest satellites RemoteTech has to offer you can reach anywhere in the solar system, you may in a rare occasion lose signal due to planet being in the way or what not but that's what the flight computer is for. But of course you can do it however you want. My network is always setup this way and has never failed: 4 LKO Satellites with 4 antennas. 3-4 Geostationary Satellites with 1 antenna to receive signals from the LKO satellites and transmit to crafts within range. 4 dishes, usually the stock dish to send signals to the Mun and Minmus. 3-4 Interplanetary Satellites either in geostationary orbit or higher with 1 antenna and 4 of the largest dishes available which will cover the entire galaxy and offer uninterrupted communications. I put more then 1 dish on each satellite so I don't have to keep changing targets if I'm operating on 2 or more planets/moons at once.
  7. You only need dishes for travel past the Mun if you have Geostationary satellites in orbit, the dipole has plenty of range. Anything past the Mun then you will need dishes, a min of 2. One on a sat pointed towards the planet or craft and one on the craft pointed back towards the satellite. (You don't have to physically point them, just open up the targeting menu from a remote tech processor or core body and select a planet/moon/craft and that's good enough) What I like to do is put 4 LKO satellites up with 4 dipoles on each. Then my 3-4 Geostationary satellites will each have 2 dipoles for signal from the LKO satellites and for transmitting to craft within range, they then also have 4 dishes each on them for long range communications. I've yet to do interplanetary missions past Minmus but when I do I'll be sending up 2 satellites with the huge dishes and will be putting them into a semi-stationary orbit around Kerbin.
  8. You can set your nodes, then enter the information from the node into the flight computer and hit send. Be sure to click Maneuver also for the attitude. NOTE: You can click "Burn Time" to switch to Delta V if you'd rather input amount of Dealt v instead of burn time, I find that more accurate.
  9. I found and bought this game in early May...I've been gaming for years, and already my play time on this has far surpassed all my others lol except WoW and Skyrim. The joy I had when I found this game is unexplainable, I had been searching for a space game like this for YEARS...your own program, designs, missions, etc...I had always wanted this kind of game. I was extremely pissed with the new Sim City, having been a Sim City fan since the first one, but now I'm glad it was so bad because a topic on its forums bashing EA and praising good games from small developers had this posted in it.
  10. LOL these rovers are just insane lol...in a good way...
  11. Would it be possible to get a copy of that badass rover? I'd love to play around with it for inspiration.
  12. Awesome guys thanks! (Don't know why I didn't check the wiki) Thanks again.
  13. Been playing KSP since May...I've built a space station, been to Mun and Mimmus but have never done an interplanetary flight yet. I see everyone talking about Aerobraking to save delta v while transferring to other planets moons...what exactly is it and how is it executed? I'm assuming it involves skimming the atmosphere?
  14. Dude...why didn't I ever think of this, that is BADASS. EDIT: This is the most badass rover I've ever seen lol...
  15. Bought me a 2nd copy. Just to help support my favorite game. Have the non steam version and now the steam version. Support Squad instead of just transferring to Steam lol, now I have both.
  16. What amazes me is this game is "alpha" but it has less bugs and glitches then most games RELEASED today lol, its rather sad what the gaming industry has come too. Squad and other like minded developers give me hope and is the reason I've prushased this game 3 times lol. Sorry for the hijack lol.
  17. I'm a Medic...Versed is a drug we use...it sounded cool...it was a good acronym. Although now I'm trying to come up with a better more realistic name. EDIT: Whoops didn't realize I just posted lol...wow...blonde moment...sorry for DP.
  18. Paint.net is nice, its pretty much a free Photoshop. I've also thought about doing requests, I'm fairly good with Photoshop. Anything I can help you with?
  19. I love MechJeb personally. Use it for every launch and I love the maneuver planner, beats having to sit there and try to fine tune a node. EDIT: Smooth throttle and orbit info...love that too.
