Has anyone recompiled the DLL the source files are available here https://cleverbobcat.codeplex.com/ some of you clever coding people may be able to bring it upto date which i think will fix a few issues -
I recompiled the DLL by following the instructions on this page http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/9905-090-lazor-system-v35-dec-17/&page=74 and it worked unfortunately it cant be distributed

Thanks for that its a shame the Romfarer ones are busted as he had a nice little interface that you could control the arm from. the camera and the magnet, thats why i didnt understand the IR one its each individual moving component Update I got the old arms working

You have to open the docking ports internal and exterior doors then they cant get out and you can eva them I figured that one out

They are pouring there efforts into console games why not just do the whole suite and throw in apps as well

I dont understand how you control the manipulator I used the craft file and the manipulator is built but I have tried right clicking on it to try and and find some console to run it opened the IR interface and it makes no sense.

Could someone give me a clue on how to use the robotic arms I am used to the old romfarer ones that had a little console that popped up I have no idea on how to use this IR one

@DuoDex I went and searched for the forum notification and noticed this quote from Kasper A backup of the current forum will be available to moderators and administrators for a while after the update, if someone is for some reason not able to recover a particular blog/thread we can retrieve it Does this mean you could access my subscription list and give it back to me or at least the topic lists emailed to me so I can re subscribe

All i can say is roll on 1.1 with x64 so we can rid ourselves of this low memory issue and enjoy Proots creation

Did a fix ever get put out to stop it from being nose heavy on landing also how do you use the robotic arm I have IR installed but their appears to be no console to drive it

I disagree with your point of introducing things slowly, a locked or limited test site could have been setup with the format that was going to be used and the layout and color scheme so it could have been reviewed by the users, you could have even used it to see how long the migration was actually going to take and used that information to inform the user base that the forums where going to be down for 48 hours. I would like to see the technical reasons why it couldn't be done (I work in the IT field) and the practical reasons I am guessing is lack of resources/staff. I suggest take a look at the IPS community product feedback board https://community.invisionpower.com/forum/481-product-feedback/ and make your own judgements like its been said we cant go back we can however move forward and try and make it as usable and pleasant experience as possible.

@rbray89This is working fantastic for me I have 76 mods running on DX9 I was previously using opengl without much change but on DX9 makes a huge difference i have 50+ frames a second sitting in the VAB and Windows 10 is telling me my memory is around 2.5gb usage so very happy. Thankyou once again Rbray for your dedication and time to improve my game experience -
@Red Iron CrownIt was a bit of fear mongering about curse but all in all it was about not being told or even notified that they where moving it to curse, originally told spaceport 2 was coming BOOM next its curse so not a lot of consultation with the community or addressing our concerns so I call that a fail. As for the new forum software to be perfectly honest I hate it, I struggle with it and I don't think I am the only one, again some consultation, user testing etc, break the community in slowly to it would have been much better. V bulletin wasn't ideal but for the most part people where reasonably happy with the ease of use and functionality. I agree with you change is always met with resistance but if you make the community part of the change so they feel included it goes alot better. Its all about managing expectations and communication which we all seem struggle with, moving forward hopefully we can improve.

Please consider that some of the modders are taking no action until the release of 1.1 which is expected to break a lot of mods everyone was expecting 1.1 but we got 1.05 instead as interim some have been doing minor fixes other are holding off so please consider this before calling it dead -
Very true but you would think we could learn from our mistakes the handling of the spaceport migration and again now with the forums the two biggest client impacting applications haven't exactly been smooth sailing . I hope moving on into the future more consultation and user testing can be considered before making major changes to lessen the impact on clients

I had that issue as well it was solved by removing Eve, I installed KSPRC but the overheads where to high to run so I removed all the KSPRC folders except for EVE missed that one, I encountered the above problem after removing EVE Folder problem went away -
I understand if things haven't been addressed as quickly as we would like, we just had a major public holiday and the forum staff have been enjoying the festive season with there family's. However the timing of the implementation of the new forum software begs to be answered why implement a change that close to a major holiday, why not leave it till the New Year to implement when staff and resources are at there highest and potential issues could be addressed immediately, I am sure VB would have survived another month. I am still not warming up to this forum software at all and struggle with just the basic features but that's just me.
