Im running on a potato too, imagine how bad it was for me to MAKE it I lost my patience a couple of times haha.

Thank you for all the positive feedback Has anyone downloaded and tested this?

They are (obviously) based on the MiG-9 and MiG-15 Russian jet fighters. Both planes come equipped with RCS to maneuver them into hangars: I also have non-stock versions with DYJ's minigun, but unfortunately due to weight distribution issues the cannons are side-mounted as opposed to nose-mounted like real life. Those are sweeeeet!

On the same topic, for whack a kerbal you have to do FN ALT MMB

From the first page of comments on this thread you've been dissing it, and it really does annoy me. He has the right to have a subassembly thread without someone coming and sayings its worthless. No one has come onto your Launcher thread and called IT useless, have they? No. So show some respect will you. Whether it took 30 seconds or 3 hours, if they feel its worth sharing, they have the right to share it without someone telling them its useless, regardless of how long it took to make. Geesh.

Agreed. The Kigs need their own show As for the Vertikal, I like the russian format, majority of the members here are Pro America, only a select few of us see the beauty in Russian crafts Secondly, considering I've never been able to make a VTOL with only one engine, Im in no position to degrade your achievement! This thing is awesome!

Because of how much extra fuel this thing has (I drop the 2nd stage with 1/8 fuel left, and the 3rd stage with about half its fuel left) I could probably get it to duna. With a CSM modified to have a nuclear engine of course, and considering the lander could be landed entirely with parachutes, I would have both its stages for ascent. Ill reflect on that tomorrow

Thanks! And Hmm I quite like teh striped side, but I havent tried the black side yet. I'll try that tomorrow and post results Thanks for the suggestion!

Good job! I remember my first Mun landing Stayed up all night, and after 13 launches, I finally got it! (no quicksaves :3) Also, just a suggestion, I make this mistake a lot too, but when you copy the code off imgur, it already includes the so when you hit the picture button and then paste it in, theres 2 sets, you only need to copy paste with imgur

What the literal hell.

The new legs have done nothing but good things for me They are way cooler then a stiff leg for one, the slumping they do makes your craft look more realistic, and 2, a similar event happened to me as the OP. I was on the mun, and ran out of fuel about 30 m from the surface. As I started to free fall I blasted on my RCS downwards but to no avail. Charlie Kerman closed his eyes, but to both of our astonishment, the landings legs absorbed it entirely! Had that been the old legs, their stiff nature would of snapped my lander in half, I mean I hit the ground going 30+m/s! the only thing that broke was the lower most fuel tank, but it was a 2 stage lander so it didnt even matter.

That would be Erzon Kerman. Believe it or not he was stranded in one of the earlier versions of this rocket, when the command module ran out of fuel on the way back. We had to get the kerbals out and push, and during an EVA mishap his eva pack ran out of fuel and he couldnt get back on the ladder. On the bright side the other 2 Kerbals mad eit back after 2 hours of pushing We are still trying to figure out how to save Erzon.. I dont want to lose him since he has such an awesome name

Underneath the adapter that the docking port is on. EDIT: Woops mis read that. THe parachutes are there for asthetics only, meant to resemble the tanks on the sides of the LM.

I would LOVE to make a cinematic video, problem is, I have never in my life made a video. I dont even know where to start! And me being on a MAC makes it even harder to get reliable video software
-
that would be extremely cool! I wanted to originally but ended up making an LEM looking one instead. Im going to try the SovietLK mixed with the LEM again, but its gonna be pretty hard balancing out considering it almost HAS to be asymmetrical.

Any suggestions from anyone?

(removed due to irrelevancy)

Thank you! Means a lot coming from you (May not know it but Ive drooled over your russian rockets for a month or so haha)

Hello fellow Kerbonauts! I've decided to make another apollo style rocket, bigger and better then my previous one. And the N-5 was the result! Intended to resemble the N1 russian rocket and the Saturn V american rocket, the N5 was born. 4 stages, 679 parts, and 871 tons of solid Lunar Justice. This rocket is designed to give a realistic apollo style Moon mission, and if you fly it right, will leave 0 debris behind. Statistics Parts: 679 Weight: 871 tons Payload to LKO: 120 tons ACTION GROUPS 1: Activates Launch Escape System. 2: Decouples LES and deploys parachutes. 3: Activates soft landing retro rockets. Use this right before you land back on Kerbin. Download Link: http://www./?nykgg6b6g6w87ux Tell me what you think!
