  2. There are dozens of possible sections and hundreds of possible settings. And I don't even know what most of them do. The ones I do have some understanding of are in the CFGs. Sorry don't know anything about the science stuff. If someone wants to figure it out I will consider adding it. Nice looking planets! I would guess you have PQSMods in your Gas Giant CFG. Try removing everything except PFBody, CelestialBody and Orbit. I'll update CE soon. Want to get a few other bugs fixed first. Don't know what that is. And yes the sun lights do not work on any other body than the Sun at this point. Krag

No. All you need from SE is the Color and Elevation map: Make sure you export PNG files and then rename them as follows: surface_bump.png becomes <planetname>_height.png surface_diff.png becomes <planetname>_color.png Add a mountain by modifying the bump map or use PQS_MapDecal in the CFG. See Skelton for an example. Krag
  8. You only need a _map file that is the same as the name of the planet. MyGasGiant_map.png
  9. For the export issue. Modify (or add if it doesnt have one) a ScaledExport section to the CFG. ScaledExport { templateName=Minmus //Name of the planets template. mapWidth=2048 //Size of exported Texture. maxHeight=20000 //Highest point on the planet. } Change templateName to be the same as in the PFBody section.
  10. Yes that is a bug introduced by 0.23 it is harmless but it means that UltraWarp doesnt work. There is also a bug with Inaccessible and Ascension being black. As soon as I figure that out I will release an update.
  11. After export you still need to rename the exported files (png and bin) to get rid of the _ on the end. Blah_map_.png to Blah_map.png. Blah_.bin to Blah.bin etc. This is so that an accidental export wont mess up your planets map.
  12. Gas giants just use the map view. Make the texture Joon_map.png
  13. I finally landed on it and it was really underwhelming. I am going to recall the system and make it asteroid size. And add a Fortress of Solitude Mountain Range at the north pole. <--One of these statements is not true.
  14. Don't know. Its never been landed on. And only crashed into twice! (don't worry it buffed right out). But if I had to guess I would say "pointy".

  16. Rings are not yet supported in CFG planets. Next version.
  17. In the case of Barney the cfg looks like this: CelestialBody { bodyDescription=Barney //GeeASL=0.66 //Radius=14000 rotates=True ...etc The // means that line is commented out and has no effect. So Barney winds up being the same size as its template Tylo.

  19. Not sure what the antivirus down load problem is. Probably the security settings in your browser/machine. Try downloading it from a different browser/machine. Really nice Mini planet Metaphor! You can change the seed and baseColors to make it look less like joker. I recognize his sinister grin the the screens. Gas giant atmospheres are not fully supported in the CFG files yet. Any body that uses Jool as a template will have a green tint. Will fix in upcoming versions. Sylandro, if you have only seen him twice you have been very lucky.
  20. Nicely done! Great mission and screens! Pole as in big spikey bit sticking out. Looks like a snapped off space elevator. Its at 5º 3' 7" N 107º 28' 30" W
  21. I am surprised no one has landed (or even commented) on the new planets. Three new suns (including a binary with creamy barycenter) and four new land able planets and it doesn't even rate a yawn. Kerbals are jaded.
