So eh yeah, what it is and what it does in the title.. landing is so terrible it will make a grown Kerbal cry.. still WIP in that respect. But launching it and getting it into orbit is fun Enjoy! Oh and btw when the orange tank is almost empty.. drop it for some reason it makes the shuttle tip over :-/ https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9346020/Space%20Shuttle/Shuttle.craft"]DOWNLOAD

After the public Gemini XI WooD proudly presents the latest Gemini Space Craft, XIII. You will find the how to fly in the craft file Enjoy! DOWNLOAD

My latest Gemini, version XIII already. Prettier than ever before and ofcourse a two seater One slight problem with the 2nd stage of the Titan II was that my Gemini Space craft is to wide for a small tank and not wide enough for a bigger one so I had to play around with some fairings to make it look pretty(but not realistic). Flies pretty easy and more enough fuel to get into a 200x200 orbit. gemini with the titan rocket gemini space craft Buz Kerdrin doing some science at the back of the craft

Ship Request: stock space shuttle
WooDzor replied to Deadpangod3's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
This was my shot at the shuttle.. Works great, looks good accept for the massive rockomax on the orange tank And no payload at the moment, but it looks pretty hanging on the side of your space station in LKO, 75x75 is pretty much the maximum orbit it gets to. -
Nice craft indeed. First try it exploded on the pad though, second try beautifully stable and i love how the fairings fly away Then it inspired to me to build my own small Apollo like lander. Still not finished but managed to get a Mun fly by Sunday morning.. But I had blocked up the exit of the command module..WRAAAAGHHH!!! @Mulbin.. I noticed the 10 engines in the first stage how did you manage to stack the 2? When i try it I always end up with fairings and engines not working :-/ Secondly I kinda like rockets that take off slowly; that moment when your rocket floats and suddenly beats gravity, poetry :,)

I ended up with about 95%, 10 km out of Kampala, still pretty cool but close to impossible to take photos. Messed around with my phone and camera...of course ran out of power on my camera (kerbal style) and haven't yet charged it. I will check it tonight after work. so this is a photo of the reflection of my phone lens reflecting in the back of the solar eclipse glasses...Once again I live by my sig

NO you didn't!!

Hey when can we expect one of these curiosity clone or constelation like youtube movies? They're inspiring and great to watch.
-
I just finished it last night and I enjoyed it, and now I can continue to collect science just for fun
-
Finished the science tree and built a new Service Module for my Springbok VII (appolo like Mun Mission) and started with a minibuggy to figure out these components for when I start building my Mun/Duna Base :-)
-
Who's going to watch it? I am in !! Though I might not travel all the way up North for the full one I'll be quite happy with most of the Sun covered. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_eclipse_of_November_3,_2013

So when are we getting something new to look at? even your youtube channel has been quiet.:-(

So, how about Eve's new incline?
WooDzor replied to TheCanadianVendingMachine's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I never noticed it was on an incline I just go there normally :S -
Eve Lander I - Spirit Inspired Eve Duna and Laythe Rover
WooDzor replied to WooDzor's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Let me know how it goes. I got lucky on Laythe (pun intended and a good slogan for a Kerbal t-shirt) Managed to land it on a tiny island the first time I tried, same story with Eve -
Vostok II - Russian Inspired Orbiter
WooDzor replied to WooDzor's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Thank you :-) managed to build a space shuttle that orbits Coming soon! -

Right mouse button on the dropbox linkunder the heading 'download' save as.. -
If internet is willing tonight I will upload the craft file to the spacecraft exchange. I tried to hide a little satellite inside the hull but the moment you release it, the shuttle turns into a Challenger/ Columbia :-( I wish I could come up with a nice looking stock solution to put a satellite in the hull. also I need more DV to get it up to a 250x250 orbit and a docking port on the roof of the shuttle and a more realistic looking nose for the shuttle

I live in Uganda and the friend I play together with (read: show off life footage of silly missions) lives in Holland. quickest and easiest way to do it is sending images over whatsap. Only problem: I can't be bothered about uploading photos to my phone so I just take a photo of my screen :$ Also; Read my sig

build the ISS (it's a bit wobbly though) and decided I needed a space shuttle (it's more a Buran though) too. It took me about 6 hours to make it work and I only have low res images at the moment.. launch gravity turn Succes! LKO orbit!! the inside of the Shuttle I'll upload some HR images later today

It's actually the shrouding/fairing for the rover, just to give it a nice nose-cone shaped tip when flying through interplanetary space. First it uses the heat shield to slow down -> lose heat shield -> uses parachutes on the fairing to slow down more-> detaches rover with more chutes + skycrane(bit of a wiggle to get it out but it works) -> descents further -> use skycrane to nicely land with a 0.1 m/s impact. I will send you a link for the Eve-rover later, I don't have it with me at the moment. It was actually designed for Eve, but works unsurprisingly well on Duna and Laythe too :-) note: in the 'duna lander' image you can actually see the heat shield flying away. (tiny black dot ahead of the rover)
