The jet itself actually has no fuel on board, which is the big reason why I like the design. But it if eats power even while not making thrust, that's a simple fix, I will just bind it to the action group that shuts down the thermal jets to prevent a death spiral, thanks. -

I built a single stage to laythe plane that bounces itself out of the atmosphere with thermal jets, then switches over to a QVPD. I was wondering if there was any downside to leaving the QVPD running while in laythes atmosphere, or on kerbins so that it is easier to bounce out of the atmosphere to get back to space. -

Ummm, is there any downside to leaving a plasma thruster running constantly, even in atmosphere? -

Sweet, I kinda hope you two can then. I love the balloons, but they always look so out of place strapped to the top of by vehicles in a container wider then the vehicle, that does not conform either.

With the next version of Hexcans having a pod that unfolds, is there any chance of a hexpod balloon?

How can you even stick 4 on the back of one reactor? They dont work if there is a part between them AFIK, and they attach via node. -

I had an idea for career mode. Would it be possible to have kethane you brought back on recovered craft count twords your science? -
Personally I absolutely love the salvage tug, may I make a sugestion though? What about a variant of the tug with no crew, having ditched the crew for for automation even more fuel/delta v? Trade a bit of versatility for even more push?

The problem I ran into was gimp keeps sampling the alpha as well, which does not look quite right on a base texture. Thanks for the help though. -

Ummmmm ZZZ or Factal if you know? Whats the base color on your parts? I am trying to retexture a part I made for personal use to match them, but I cant get a sample to work from any where. I tried screenshots in the assembly building, but lighting messes that up, and before that I tried to get the color from the textures themselfs, but I cant extrapolate it from a difuse map. :/ Sorry if this is asking too much. -

Is there a way to force a reactor to run at half power? I lost a radiator on launch, and now when ever it runs at full it builds up wasteheat, and shuts itself off, the constant starting and stoping is a bit anoying. I know they will auto regulate and only produce as much power as drawn, but the thing is it runs at 100 when ever there is electricity to be made, which the "Space deployment vehicle" I made has a need for quite often with the plasma thruster. -

My only complaint about this update, it made me have to think to hard about using a kiwi where the antimater reactor would have been better, simply because the new kiwi looks so amazing. :| Any chance the AI core could get an art pass? Or the rest of the nukes? I think those are the last items that need it. -

Its not a major issue, just still trying to get to Eve, kinda new to interplanetary stuff. It died in Kerbin orbit which is very easy to achieve, so termination is fine. Thanks though, I do wish to know which variable makes it upgraded in the craft file though if thats okay so that I can just manualy send it over in the mean time. -

Will the fix be retroactive? Can I just leave the ship up there and it will aply when I update? Or should I terminate the mission? -

Not getting any vacuum plasma at 100km above Kerbin. Is this normal, or the same glitch that affected the thermal jet? -

Will thermal hybrid jets draw liquid fuel from outside there stage if fuel lines are used? I kinda want to set up droptanks, and ditch the liquid fuel to save weight once my aircraft is actualy on Eve. -
