Perhaps some sort of backpack the kerbals could wear, like a backpack version of the KAC part container

You could just delete all the parts you dont want.... its not that difficult

Just now i launched my shuttle with a small (ish) mun lander inside, I then launched and noticed it was swaying a lot inside after placing myself suborbital i opened up the cargo bay doors to watch the lander drift out, i then circularized with the shuttle and lander separately and figured out that it must have been a staging error AT LAUNCH and had somehow stayed inside and not blown up the whole time! heres a pic: Edit: its a bit dark but you can see the lander in the centre

I sort of find it amazing knowing that i will be alive (hopefully) to see people explore the gas giants, if not the inner solar system

Hmm I do see what you mean, The shuttle could have had smaller wings which would mean bigger payloads (theoretically) but the US air force wanted it to do something with polar orbits (cant exactly remember) but then never really used it or took advantage of the bigger wings.

Mistakes? The shuttle did tons of experiments in space which no other craft like it could do while staying cheap(ish) It also deployed probes to Venus and Jupiter. I know in the end it cost a lot to run but it did do lots of good in terms of science

Please can I see all the new effects just to check if I like them after hearing all the bad feedback? (no offence Dtobi, this mod is probably my favourite)

Quick question: Does the shuttle still work without the lazer mod if i dont install the robotic arm. Only reason is that iv had past problems with it and kind of find it OP.

This will work great for the shuttle, I always wondered why the cockpit only had 2 seats in when it could take much more

Slightly off topic but I was reminded of it when people were talking about gilly... Way back in my nooby days I managed to get to gilly but the lander I brought... Well... it was made for Duna...dont laugh it was only a while after my first mun landing and I knew nothing about this moon apart from looks. its rcs could lift the entire lander...
