  1. Hi SilverFox, I love your mod, have a couple of questions if you can help me: 1. wind speeds are often very strong, upwards of 30-70kph cross winds, causing for very challenging Jeb moments - typically I would expect to see in calm days light winds, is there any configuration that I can change min/max (other than the wind storms option)? 2. the wind speed reported in your UI is vastly different than that of the Anemometer. see here: perhaps Im not using the mod correctly, is this an issue?
  2. Hi ObsessedWithKSP (I like the name), Thanks a lot for the comment, I am glad you are enjoying the pits as much as I am. I will look into the KAX cockpit for sure. As far as position the view point, I actually found that a mod called KerbTrack (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/73184-0-90-KerbTrack-Head-tracking-using-your-webcam-TrackIR-Oculus-Rift-%282014-10-16%29), and you can actually adjust your center position, by that I mean you can offset you view up, down, or sideways. I havent tried it much, but something to look into. - - - Updated - - - I am planning on it, but it looks like SQUAD actually haven't assigned any 3d model to the IVA, and I dont know 3d modelling myself (should start learning to get some props made that I've been waiting around for).
  3. Hi Crzyrndm, Have you thought of adding some props for IVA use? I would love to have altitude, heading and speed available through a set of knobs with a digital display, much like a typical airliner autopilot panel? Either way this is a great mod! Part of my install list!
  4. You can also try mine "Modified IVA" (see sig), using ASET props for a fully functional pit.
  5. Yup. They work really well to get the height just how you need it.
  6. Hey mate, if your capacitor has the ability to tie the action to an action group, you can just use any of the CB0-9 push switches in the IVA's
  7. Not really, just trying to get the same look and feel of that era, I did name it KC3 in reference to the DC3, and took the layout _loosely_ from it in the IVA.
  8. Hey mate, apologies for the late reply - one person mentioned it before, but I wasnt able to replicate it on my side, perhaps I was testing with the cockpit that they do work. I'll have a look. - - - Updated - - - Update to 4.2!! The awesome SH KN2 cockpit gets a modified IVA! p.s. more images soon once imgur is back on
  9. No worries at all, one of my favorites as well, my beloved KC3 Arrow is the main reason why I'm updating the pit at the moment:
  10. Quick preview of another IVA in the works: KN2 IVA by Sam Hall ( Thread and License)
  11. Hey Dragon01 - I am still working on a couple of new IVAs but was a bit hammered at work lately, and haven't found the time to get everything in the shape Id like. If you, or anyone, have suggestions on other IVAs for me to get to - let me know and I will add them to the list.
  12. This, this is the best piece of news I've gotten in KSP!!! Love it - thanks mate!
  13. Hi AlphaAsh, Great mod - quick question, apologies if you covered this already - what's the "Enable ATC" option? I'm salivating at the possibility that its a Air Traffic Control
  14. Thanks mate, I should have some free time this coming week with some time off work, and will likely see an update or 2.
  15. Hey MeCripp, not rude at all, I used the path that installed the alcor props standalone defaulted to, I will likely follow in the next update with a cleanup to all the paths.
  16. Hey mate, Apologies for the late reply - check you debug window, or your KSP.log file - most issues is model loading related. If you give a little more detail, I can help further.
  17. Hi Wanderfound, No trick, I just update them in the description of the vessel like you. there is a max character limit on them as well otherwise it wont print the label IIRC. - - - Updated - - - Same here - issue seems to be in the prop code. Either that or I'm not using the prop correctly - entirely possible.
  18. Hey MeCripp, It may be that the paths can be worked out a little better - I decided to keep the path as the standalone ALCOR props package installs it (at least in my machine ) - that might be something that I can look into being flexible about. Didn't sound bad at all, as long as you can use, you're doing it right. I do plan on making more, working on one pod now, and will move on to others as soon as I am done.
  19. Glad to hear you fixed your issue - that folder path should have been correct, not sure why your ASET zip extracts without "ASET_Props_1.0.2" as the root folder. I will have to test a little further and see if I can perhaps set the paths to something more specific.
  20. Hi Ippo, Not funds cost, but Science, I'm making the assumption that the science amount is related to the effort in scientific research that KerbalKind had to achieve in order to offer such a level of training. If that assumption is "correct" then the scientific progress is already there once it's achieve the first time (say when you pay for the training of the first Kerbal). Hope that made sense.
