[1.12.X] Kerbal Planetary Base Systems v1.6.15 [28. April 2022]

I'll try that. I'll look at USI-LS parts and report back. -
[1.12.X] Kerbal Planetary Base Systems v1.6.15 [28. April 2022]

No changes to mods. Previously, game loaded all mods without problem. When the game loads now, it reports the vehicles cannot be loaded because those mods are missing. Thanks for looking. -
[1.12.X] Kerbal Planetary Base Systems v1.6.15 [28. April 2022]

Suddenly, KSP is not loading the following: Container_Noms_big Container_Noms_small Gangway_flexible As a result, I've lost two bases and a station. KSP-AVC isn't reporting a problem. Here's a link to archive with KSP.log and output_log.txt https://www.dropbox.com/s/5fatx6tllf1hj5f/output_log.zip?dl=0 -
@-MM- Don't know if I've said this before. THANK YOU for this mod. I gives a reason to continue to research Science long after the tech tree has fully blossomed. It's modders like you that keep this game going. Yes, there are parts mods, and they're nice. But mods like this, MechJeb2, and a few others are in the special category.

[1.8.x] Contracts Window + [v9.4] [11/1/2019]

SEP consistently floats when revisiting a SEP site. I've tried attaching it to the surface and just placing it. I still get floating. This occurs only with SEP. Sidebar: The Solar Panels cannot retract.

OK, then thanks for the update. I was seeing only MCE contract spam. It's the only contract mod I use. In that case, my F-F-S is aimed squarely at KSP and Squad. Squad was so damned proud about putting out their money-milking DLC, while fouling-up something this basic. I wish Squad would concentrate on fixing what's broken, such as the crappy physics and idiotic bugs like this. How did 1.4.2 pass QA? Jeesh... If the core game wasn't so good (and the modding community so great), I would have uninstalled this steaming PoS a long time ago. KSP has always been loaded with bugs. If it was any more buggy, you'd have to spray your computer with Raid every time you played. Squad's motto: Bugs? Bugs? We don't care. We don't have to. We're Squad. Meanwhile; re-enabling MissionControllerEC.dll, because this is one of my favorite mods. I'll deal with Squad's incompetence to make a quick fix to a serious problem. Given that Squad seldom creates fixes beyond X.X.2 for a given release, we'll all be stuck with this problem for the next six months until KSP 1.5.0.

Also, this is back again, causing the game to pause every two seconds: The only setting I see in Settings (General) is "Advanced Message Application" and it is disabled. I don't see "In Flight Help"; is that in MCE somewhere? I renamed MissionControllerEC.dll to MissionControllerEC.XXX, and it disappeared when I restarted the game. I closed the game, renamed MissionControllerEC.XXX to MissionControllerEC.dll, and it is gone.

@Apollo13 I don't want to go down that road. I've had or heard reports of about a dozen mods and KSP itself being flagged as false positives by Windows Defender. If you want you could fork the GitHub repo, then change the file extensions yourself and download it. That would have the same effect. Can't do it. Even after forking, I need to download the files, which Windows Defender won't allow. Would it be possible for you to rename the file with a "safe" extension, such as "txt" in the future? I know it's not a txt file.

[1.12.X] Kerbal Planetary Base Systems v1.6.15 [28. April 2022]

So true. LOL You made my day. Oh, and you owe me a new keyboard. I was drinking coffee when I read your post and did a spit-take. One of those fancy, mechanical-key gaming keyboards would be much appreciated. -
OK, chalk this one up to an ID-10-T error. The link is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/05ru76o2uamb3jx/SEP_error_Log_files.zip?dl=0

Thank you for your response. Your URL link was most helpful. The problem is I'm forced to use a steaming pile of sh1t called Windows Defender as my anti-virus because an app I need for work depends on it. I prefer AVG. Windows Defender flagged one of the files (sep_prefab) in the Resources directory as bad for computers, and stopped loading any files after that. Hence, the missing files. I've seen this occur with other mods. I hate Windows Defender. I consider it to be a virus. Regardless, after downloading the install file again, I copied over everything but that file. Hope it's not needed. If it is needed, can you name it something "safe" like .txt and provide a link to it? I would install it, then rename it to the correct name. Thanks again. EDIT: Now that I have all the files, it works fine.

Which log file are you looking for? Where is it located?
-
This is a log file I provided to another author, but it is relevant to Haystack as well. IT contains four files, including KSP.log and output_log.txt that you need. In output_log.txt, I see this at line 6272, 6312:Texture resolution is not valid for compression: 'D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\HaystackContinued\icons\button_vessel_flag.png' - consider changing the image's width and height to enable compression Then there are quite a few lines at 400040, including a failed load file. I'm using the latest version from github. Perhaps a corrupted download? I'll re-download/install after I post this.

[1.12.X] Kerbal Planetary Base Systems v1.6.15 [28. April 2022]
Apollo13 replied to Nils277's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@Apollo13 You mentioned something about a jumping central hub but deleted the post before i was able to answer. Have you solved the problem? What did you have to do, might be good to know of other with that problem appear I'm not sure. IT occurred on Minmus, which has very light gravity. There was a 3x2 solar panel that opened, partially covering the door. When a Kerbal exited the vehicle, it bumped the panel, causing the hub to jump. When climbing up the ladder to the door, the Kerbal would press against the solar panel, causing the hub to tilt and jump about a bit. When I moved the solar panel, the kerbal was able to move freely in and out of the hub door. Bottom line: I believe it was Minmus' light gravity or KSP's errant physics at fault. You may wish to try the same experiment. The hub weighs 9 tone. Kerbal should not be able to move it under any circumstances. -
This is how my Haystack window looks: And, a big THANK YOU for continuing this.

Here's the KSP.log and output_log.txt files just after attempting to calibrate. https://www.dropbox.com/s/05ru76o2uamb3jx/SEP_error_Log_files.zip?dl=0 Also includes my: SEP_NH_ScienceDefs.cfg and SEP_OPM_ScienceDefs.cfg DEFs files. I included these based u[on your post. At line 52427 in output_log.txt: The error occurs with all experiments.

[1.8.x] Contracts Window + [v9.4] [11/1/2019]
Apollo13 replied to DMagic's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
OK, I'll give that a try. The problem occurs after I've been playing awhile. It may occur while changing scenes. I'm not certain. -
Wow. That was quick. EDIT: A bit odd display for Mk-1-Cabin-Hatch, given the .version file: { "NAME":"Mk1-Cabin-Hatch", "URL":"https://raw.githubusercontent.com/skalou/Mk1-Cabin-Hatch/master/Mk1-Cabin-Hatch__KSP-AVC", "VERSION": { "MAJOR":0, "MINOR":2, "PATCH":0, "BUILD":0 }, "KSP_VERSION": { "MAJOR":1, "MINOR":2, "PATCH":1 } }
