  1. Sounds awesome JDP, can't wait to see what you guys come up with. Do you mind if i ask if MechJeb will still have a place for integration with RT2 or is that out of scope?
  2. Well good that he took a vacation, and we all look forward to the updated H.O.M.E module. Any word if any of the other mods are getting an uplift to .21.2?
  3. Everyone do the snoopy dance EDIT: Its when snoopy is happy and dances around
  4. Do you get a grid overlay showing you where the deposit is or just a tiny map with coordinates? If the later you have an old version of Kethane, like .7.1 i think
  5. Yeah I reinstalled RT 0.5.1 and am bumming around with that and testing CCP so I can wait till RT2 and MJ2 compatibility
  6. Turns out I had RT0.5.1 installed, you need to remove all RT before installing RT2 this should fix that issue
  7. I believe from my understanding of talking with LJ(and correct me if I am wrong), if we want mechjeb controls then the creator would need to code their plugin to send data to the CCP plugin so that we could have Mechjeb awesomeness on touch screen. So the question becomes whether or not those devs want to do that
  8. Exactly my thoughts, I mean if there was an advanced button and a simple button that would work, let the die hards program, I want to play
  9. Well lets step through my first impressions. The control pad does a very good job of making it feel like you are using a control pad for your spaceship. I have only used it on my iPad mini and it is quite functional. So I will now run through my pros, cons, and suggestions. Keeping in mind there are still bug fixes and touch how being released to beta testers in the next few days. PROS: 1) Looks like and actual console 2) Displays useful information via LCD like the Celestial Body Info, Orbit info, and Vessel Info 3) The ability to rearrange the panel to whatever configuration you want 4) The ability exists to send info to the program from other Mods and Plugins should the developers wish to do that(MecJeb2, ORDA, KAS and Kerbal Engineer instantly sprung to mind for me) 4) Nice touches of things like save buttons, map, view and other UI buttons Cons: 1) Apparently no volume control for the button presses so that is a little annoying. 2) Having to reconnect to the control pad at every launch is a bit annoying as well, it would be nice if it remembered the port number for each session of KSP that you play so you aren't having to type it in each time(I launch crash, launch crash, so this is frequent for me) 3) Controls don't appears responsive enough for me to trust flying with it BUT I do love using it for information and button clicks which is where it would excel for other plugins to run off of, like MechJeb Suggestions: 1) Other Mod developers should definitely take a look at this, it makes the KSP experience more immersive and because you can customize it the options are endless 2) Few more settings like volume control 3) Make the port saved for the session if possible
  10. Any chance that welded wing sections are in the works?
  11. Um nope I used RT1 before I know you need an antenna, in fact I slapped several on and dishes and still the problem persisted
  12. Well that is unintuitive.... Especially since my rocket was sitting on the launch pad....
  13. You could abort the landing sequqence or once the gear is down hit g and bring them back up....nut to what point? Crash?
  14. Ive stuck the attachable/detachable port in the hook bays all the time, although ive never had a reason to stick em back
  15. Additionally, when i try to load the flight computer it pops up and dissapears, i have reinstalled twice now
  16. I have encountered something new with RT2, unless someone can tell me that it is a bug with the way i installed it. But even with antenna installed and powered on the ship is uncontrollable, and then when i can control it, it is sluggish and the throttle bobs up and down and up and down it is so weird.
