Yes Whack... enlist them all into the world of KSP
-
Fairly simple - who here watches Linus Tech Tips. Either on Youtube or Vessel, it doesn't matter where, it just matters if you watch it or not I watch it a fair bit, but they havn't really been doing many videos the past 2 weeks... Anyway, vote on ze' poll if you please!

Mint is MINT! I mainly just use Mint because I like it's set out's and stuff. I really only use Linux/unix for compiling my programs and OS's anyway Yes, you make an OS by using an OS. Illuminati Confirmed?

Just want to point out that the thread below is in the wrong section. He is not a rocket company himself, he is asking others to post images and crafts of kraken drives. Should probably be in the spacecraft exchange http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/128542-Kraken-Experimental

[1.1] BDArmory v0.11.0.1 (+compatibility, fixes) - Apr 23
Bilfr3d replied to BahamutoD's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
oh my god, AI Pilots I have waited SOO long for this. THE KSP HAITUS IS OVER!!! Thank you BD Armoury :3 -
So I've looked around a lot of places on the forums, and others, and cannot find anything with reference to the line entry "hps" in the default resource defs file in the Squad data. I used to hack around with resource defs quite a bit, but havn't done so since about pre-0.23, so that pretty much explains my stance here. So basically, I was just wondering, what is this mysterious value "hps", and is it even required in a resource definition? Cheers,

He's already stated that he uses this. Even so, with that mod in place, it can still cause the kraken to appear. Just because it loads the physics 'slower' doesn't mean it loads them any differently. i.e. with and without KJR if the parts are... well, clipped, the parts will still be clipped and hence it will still invite the kraken to play.

I only came here to see a rant about not crediting mod authors... that's not what I got... He clearly doesn't realise that you don't HAVE to state that you have permission from the author to the general public, you just need that permission, unless the author themselves states that you need to state it to the general public, etc, etc. And the biggest b*llsh1t review award goes to.... Seriously, who has not reported it yet? The amount of misleading and false information in that review, jeesus Christ (sorry for any Christians out there, I'm an Atheist) + reported

USA should be go metric, but I'd like to see the stuff like Pound Feet of Torque and Horsepower stay the same, as although I'm Australian, I'm accustomed to reading and gauging the power of a vehicle from those system

As per the challenge submission guidelines your own entry to your challenge must be submitted with your challenge. You might also want to refine much of the rules and guidelines of the challenge as they could easily be misinterpreted and the challenge may be exploited

I just can't get to like how the engines are knobbled now
Bilfr3d replied to Foxster's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I really don't see what all the fuss is about - you can still use engine A for a lifter stage even though engine B might be more "efficient"; it just means you'll lose some delta-V, boohoo. In the large scheme of things, a small delta-V loss doesn't REALLY matter, unless you're cutting things really close to the line to spend less on your crafts. By which stage, if you are measuring delta-V, you've probably got some mod like KER or MechJeb installed. Personally, I don't really care about which engine does what - if it gives me the TWR I want, and fits, I use it. Doesn't matter if engine B performs better in that situation, I like engine A and there's nothing you can do to make me use engine B - it's my choice to use what engine I want. Same fits with anyone playing KSP - their engine choice is THEIR choice - you have the freedom to use whatever engine you like, no one is stopping you from doing so. People may say that engine A is absolutely appalling at sea level (some may say the KR-2L), but if you want to use engine A at sea level, go for it, I - and I'm sure other people - aren't going to hate on you for doing so. IMHO engine choice doesn't really concern me, nor am I noticeably affected by it - yes, I admit, I use KER, and sometimes switch out engines because it gives me a lot more delta-V or otherwise; but those decisions are yours (or mine, in this case) to make. -

Bilfr3d replied to Bilfr3d's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Unfortunately, no one entered the 2nd round - because of this, the round has been extended to the 28th of May.
